I know there is a lot of mustang guys on here, and I need help finding complete rear axle assembly 8.8. Ive checked Jegs,summit,rpm performance, american muscle, cj pony parts, Lethal performance, late model restoration among a few others. I will keep searching and checking google. I will post back if I have found anything. Thank you ahead of time for those who help. I have to get this car up and running. I have 5 lug axles that I bought because I was going to install a Fox body 8.8 im going to end up buying a new assembly.

Im having the same problem :/ I cant find wires small enough except 28gauge.

I am going to venture into something I have not seen before in the building of these (model) cars. The problem I have ran into with the picture below is that the actual "bed" is higher than the factory so I will have to figure something out now lol.

I have not decided on the color yet. But I have a good start on what I want it to be. Stock height Lowered aprox an inch had to move the front wheels back, moved them aprox an inch as well. to

I move it back about a scale inch if that. Im going to move it to the Workbench section.

I looked but to no avail. Ill look into correcting it myself.

I have "crossfire" automotive Lacquer thinner I have not tried it yet, just afraid to i guess

Love the color, what did you use to thin the nail polish? Ive been wanting to do that but cant get it thinned right.

Absolutely I want to make door hinges, I did some up with something else and you can get them at the dollar store. And that is reading glasses and sunglasses.

Ok lowered the front and back. To me it seems the front wheel is too far forward. I put the front suspension on just like it said and the holes lined up. I guess its just me.

Ok, I get the measurements down and go to start lowering this kit. Lo and behold my scale ruler is in 32s and 64ths blah. Ill cut it close and go from there.

Ok I guess I'm confused as well lol, Once I grasp it it will stick. What I want is to figure out is a rim size, If I have a rim that is 1 1/8 inches in scale would I be looking at aprox 28 inch rim in 1:1? I think I am getting it. For every inch I will cut .04 in scale?

O ok thanks, so if I move them about an 1/8th im looking at a 3 inch drop? Secondly while on this if something is an inch which the decimal chart said it was 25.4001 it came out to 635.0025. What kinda of mess is that? when I divided by 12 I got 52.91 is this 52 scale inches?

Thanks for the tip on the rear axle I will definitely be doing that. I think I can drop it aprox 1/8th in inches total, im not sure what that is in scale. From what I gather its about 4 inch in scale.

Its for the 1957 Nomad I want to lower the front suspension as well. I have the Pegasus Chrome T's 19" to go on it. Thanks for your help.

2002 mustang

I just ordered carpet to get my car put back together. Going to look at a 8.8 rear end for it this week for $125 just have to convert it to a 5 lug. Hopefully by this summer I will have my car up and running after 2 or so years.

Phil the car looks great, but I am curious though. How in the world will the driver see around that monster of a scoop? The guy speaks clearly enough if you want to take enough time to read. Man i thought this grade school stuff was over with.

I have to find a drop tube front suspension for my build before i can get back to it. If I cant i will attempt to build one, and im afraid of what it would look like.

99 cobra is the best bet seeing that there is not much difference in the 99-04 being that its a 4.6 engine. Wasn't it only in 04 they went to the 4v dohc? I would love a wipple supercharger for my 99 cobra i am building. If your referring to the upper intake from the 2005 it is on the drivers side. Btw thank you for this clear picture i've been googling for pics like this for my build.

Nice build I love this year body...main reason is because I have a 1966. Kustom doesnt mean that all the time. I have a 1:1 1966 Custom C-10 truck. Even has the chrome pieces to say that. Im not sure exactly what the difference in the "factory custom" and "Factory stock" is with these trucks because I havent noticed a diffence. Ive been looking for a 64-66 fleetside pickup just like this one. If i get the 64 ill have to convert it to the 66 but with a V8 and not the 250 straight 6 that mine came with.
