  1. Very nice job on that Impala Ludwig, as it looks "spot on."
  2. Back in the 60's when I worked the cash register I had to figure out the change myself and it was not rocket science as they taught that in public schools. I don't recall if it was grade school, or high school but we were taught about folding money and also coins and their values, and also how to make change.
  3. That pick up truck is a sweet lookin' ride.
  4. I just don't understand why guys have hundreds or even thousands of un built model car kits and are "chompin' at the bit" for the next issue or re-issue of a kit? And then they start nit picking that new or re-issued kit, go figure?
  5. I believe our does also as well as the Meijer's store, however they are clearly marked enter or exit, and you must remember that most of the shoppers had to drive to the store which sounds scary in itself.
  6. I have no speculations as I have more kits than motivation to keep me building for more years than I have left, especially at the rate I'm currently building at.
  7. Looks like this is going to be a LONG thread with LOTS of speculation.
  8. I agree as I always see that happenin' at Walmart or Meijer stores. Don't know if the customers are just plain stupid, they just don't care, or they can't read???
  9. I've met Dino and have seen his work at the Milwaukee NNL a few times and he is a great guy and an excellent builder and his work is "over the top."
  10. Bikes were a cool way to get around when I was much younger and even in my early teens as it beat walkin' all the time. However when I started drivin' and bought my first car, bikes for me became a thing of the past.
  11. I'm sorry to say, but I think you're in for a LONG wait.
  12. My 'Vair did have the 4-spd trans which made it a lot of fun to drive, however I had to have it rebuilt a few times and even modified as I must have been too "hard on it." I also had the four carbs which I had rebuilt, modified, and sync them. And of course I also had a posi rear end.
  13. Don't have many? I had a president of a model car club back in the mid 70's tell me that he would rather look at 12 nice lookin' builds than 50 that were just thrown together. It's about quality and not quantity. I like your display case and that '70 Charger box also.
  14. I can hardly wait as that Golf will look great with a straight axle, drag slicks, and a Hemi in it.
  15. Very nice saves and builds Rick as I'm a former Corvair owner and it was really a fun car.
