hello all. this is the project that i am working on at the moment, and will continue it when i have recovered. i used the engine from the revell willys street rod kit, and used a blower and pulley set from scale repros plus. the velocity stacks are from Mr Model, with the throttle linkage from s & s specialties and detail master, spark plugs and bolts are from R B Motion. i have started scratchbuilding the leaf springs and brackets, and made a few modifications to the chassis. the opening in the hood will be done when i have the engine in its final position. i will be using cragar super trick wheels from Micro Nitro, the ones in the mock up pic, are pewter halibrands. colour will be sparkle purple pearl over black. this will be a tribute to the "moving violation" willys i built in the early eighties and won me my first trophy. thanks for looking. steve

hello all. although i am a newbie here, i was glad to see a thread for art, which is good for me as i do too much building (if there is such a thing) and not enough drawing. here are a couple of my last pieces of work. both were drawn from photos of real rat rods in car kulture deluxe. thanks for looking. steve

hello all. having just had surgery on my right arm, my model building activities have been put on hold for a while. to make up the time, i thought i would join this forum and share my builds and do some research for future projects. this is the little red wagon dodge, and the inspiration behind it was the ricky couch dodge from the 90's and an illustration from rod and custom. to be different, i made it right hand drive and added suicide doors. there are lots of scratchbuilt modified kit parts. these are complimented with aftermarket parts from r b motion, s & s specialties, detail master, scale repros plus and micro nitro to name a few. a bonus with this model was that the rear suspension is funtional, with scratchbuilt parts and coil over shocks from r b motion. thanks looking. steve
