Does anyone have an idea on how to make the side door on a van slide and open??!! Any input would be helpful thanks more can be seen in CBP 70's custom vans

Got some things done on the Denimachine model. Got the side door opened and stiffened up and started the hood mods and first round of bodywork going Got frame cleaned up thinking about full detail on the frame ,engine etc.They are going to be hard to see now just have to get Wife to get better camera any ideas on that. Any comments good or bad welcome

Go for it Michael! I remember that kit as the Califofnia Crusier by Car Craft mag it's a perfect kit to start looking forward to this build

They used to call me coke at work when I was younger because I drank so much of it, guess thats why I'm diabetic! I to am a very big coke fan I have my old mags on the build from hot rod mag my build will be fashioned from the old van not the redone one very different will post some pictures this weekend.

The kit Got her opened up man you can tell this is an old kit they did do a fairly good job on bringing it back. More flash than I remember and very thin plastic started clean up and cut side door out.More to come haveing good time working on it and listen to galaxy reliving the 70's

When you see it BUY IT too bad just reading an old hot rod mag from when they where building these I think it said they made 14 of these would love one myself

This is the insperation seen at a show here saturday.Will be using the revel kit picked it up cheap,to find out it was missing the frame time to scratch build one!Plus I'll have to make a front and back end for it (just what I needed another project)

Dug out more things that have not been out in the light for along time 55 210 64 GTO Gettin lots done well fourm was down plus 1st rebuild of my shop in about 4 years Pictures later this weekend

Got some more done today it is raining here assembled the front springs and made spring eye bushings. Used .100 rod centered it then drilled it out .035 for the bolts. (035 rod ) Got the front and rear spring perches made have to make front shackle plates yet

Thanks Jacobus in this build there has been very little kit parts,there is a ton of scratch building this is the first project for me.I build large snow plows for airports as work so I have a good eye for details Thanks you very much
