  2. ive thought it over chris, i think both trailers would look great behind this beuty. but i gotta say im leaning towards a bull wagon just a lil. maybe even a turbo wing for a wind deflector with a set of bull horns painted on it lol

  7. i dont see anything in the rules/guidelines that supports what your saying harry. and i for one look forward to seeing the all the new advertisements from p&p vintage, silvas resin and others on this forum. plus eric/ppvintage is a stand up guy that ive had the pleasure of buying many resin peices for builds that keep me coming back into this forum to show off or discuss. i am all for eric and ryan showcasing thier resin products here, MCM should be happy to be the "you heard it here first" forum anyways. dennis
  8. thanks alot chris im scratch building a mount for my air dam/jammer, it still needs a lil clean up but the basics are done. it will be able to adjust all the way to down position. dennis
  9. welcome to the forum mike, like ben said we are always happy to have another truck builder here. here is eric's (porky) site http://ppvintagekits.com/ he is a lil behind on posting pics of what he has on his site , so if ya dont see what ya want just email him and ask him, im sure he will have what ya need. he is a great guy and a great resin caster. keep us posted on your build, and with the wealth of knowledge on this forum any question you have can be answered in a timely fashion. dennis
  10. i painted up a glue bomb cab just for sample purposes to see if i could send it off and get some decals made because i plan on making a small fleet of petes and kw's. LOL REMEMBER THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL CAB IM USING LOL dennis

  12. sean if you have a scribing tool then you can use it to cut out along the line on the bottom of the block where the oil pan meets it, youll have to fill in the back/ now the front of the pan but it should be a purdy easy job. if you dont have a scriber try using the back side of the model knife. good luck
  13. heres a small update and a lil mock up: i got the cab all painted , i used duplicolor acrylic laquer gloss white. next paint will be the stripes, oh boy here we go!! lol yall wish me some luck ;D

  19. im with you doug , i think we need our fellow builders from down under to jump in as well. i think that north america and austrailia are probably the two biggest truck builders so if they see the need is there that might make them turn there heads. if anybody knows the routes we need to take please inform. dennis
  20. heres a lil update, ive got the chassis all painted and mostly assymbled. next will be the task of conquering them stripes on the cab and trailer and doing the interior.
  21. that is one sweet tator toter landon, what a great job! i like the paint job alot, and just enouph stretch to have that perfect look.
  22. from what i can see in the pictures that what it looks like, all it needs now is a good soak in the purple stuff and some tlc and youll have a fine model to build . lol lucky !!!
  23. it looks to be the detroit 290 hp 8v-71 motor, and from what i can see it looks like the california hauler pete 359. thats a nice find !!
