  12. well if there is anyway i can help you out with parts just shout out at me, i will still be buying junk lots mostley for parts but some for rebiulds. i got a bunch stuff right now, parts and almost complete junk yard. i got jimmies, frieghtliners, petes, kenworths, macks, bunch of tankers, sleepers, engines etc. just cant believe i dont have a bunch of rims and tires!! lol
  13. hi there highway and thanks for the welcome, i guess you know what im talkin bout with the fire. kinda funny how those trucks couldnt take the heat!! as far as the rims and tires are concerned im lookin for the revell german type or even the italeri style. however i would like a couple sets of the front rims from the other revell kits cause they have that "outer wheel seal" look if ya know what i mean. heck i would even take some amt/ertl rims right now. kinda funny how when i was biulding before when ever i needed something like that all i had to do was find what box it was in, lol but im biulding back up my parts i have bought about 7 parts yards off ebay. thanks for the responce ; dennis

  15. hello everybody my name is dennis and i am new here, i just got back into biulding trucks again . i started biulding when i was about 7 and had a huge collection of biulds, parts and nib model trucks. i backed off on my biulding in late 90's and then lost everything to a house fire in 05. now im back into it again and i keep asking myself why i ever stopped, lol. anyways now that im biulding again i am looking for parts, one thing im struggling finding is chrome rims like the revells have. if anybody can help me out i would be very greatfull. i will gladly pay or trade out. thanks alot im glad to be a member here, and a great big thanks to TIM AHLBORN for getting me back into biulding and showing me all the sites so far. also big thanks to ERIC over at ppvintage kits for the good stuff he has set me up with.

  17. i know that truck, its original name was "brutis" it was biult and owned by noble and pits. that is a real operating show truck. i actually got to take it for a spin around the GIANT truckstop in jamestown, nm. i used to have a bunch of pics of it, if you look real close youll see there is a ecthing of a lyon on the big sleeper window. and tim is %100 right that is a 379, i believe the year is a 1992 or 93. they put a KT 600 fully chromed engine in it, all oak cabinets, etc. etc., that truck is beutifull. wow that brings back some memories!! thanks : )
