i like the polished stainless look on the back of the big house, lol are ya gonna add a porch light? did you use stock frame on this and add or did you use aftermarket? the door turned out nice, i like the shape of the sleeper and the extensions just finnish it off. hmmmmmmm, your not gonna copyright that are ya???? lol dennis

i really like the lift cylinders ! how did you make them? the paint is looking really nice so far, gonna be a beuty when its done. i sure hope somebody starts making pete and kenworth cabovers again soon. dennis

i agree with the right to thier own name, but ya know the 2 or three guys that do offer a recast of cat motors only make a few bucks , if that they probly like the rest of us biulders and enjoy contributing and keeping model trucks alive. how much would it cost for cat to advertise at a truck show, then how much would they pay to have some model trucks biult with thier engines in them to show off at displays, parts counters and what have you? i think they should come to the table with that in mind, heck look at tims trucks and when he goes to denton to show. when somebody walks up and is admiring one of his biulds im sure more than one trucker has ordered a truck with matching specs cause it looked so good. maybe they could put stipulations down, but there is no money their for them unless it comes out of the biulders pocket. lol they look great in our models but the fact of the matter is they dont run, and 99% of us dont make any money with our biulds , however cat, cummins, detroit and what not do recieve free advertisement in a great way. ill probly always have cat motors in my trucks , i just hope they dont get to seriuos with this cause it will leave a bad taste in my mouth. dennis

i like the mural highway, have you thought of cutting it into an oval or maybe round the corners ? just a thought. how long before your gonnna need those tanks, ive got a bunch of tanks. ill be back in states around the 5th of june. if i can help you out ill ship them to ya as a lil contribution to the cause. dennis

i think your on the right track, im a big fan of the extended hood 359. i have tried to add onto hood before with out success, is yours strong enouph to hold up and how did you do it? good lookin rebiuld, be nice when its done, what colors ya gonna use? dennis

im with you on keeping the stock bumper with the extra lights, i say biuld the moose bumper from scratch like a pickup brush gaurd it would match the shape of the truck better i think. good luck with this i cant wait to see this truck done, wow she is a big one. gonna look good pullin a bull wagon. dennis

i think maybe ill just get some decals that say CUMMINS POWER and put another right under it sayin here kitty kitty!! lol i guess we can just buy a bunch of the revell pete cheep kits, they come with cat motors. if they get to serious with this thing i just might have to denounce them all together!! that would suck cause ive always been a cat man. but then again they claim to be tha american muscle in diesel engines but yet they by mitsubishi small tractors and lifts and put there name on it??? you would think they would be happy to see that there motors were in our biulds, if not for the pride of it then for the advertisement from it. if they have to much to say about it we can all pull our motors and send them to the head "cat house" along with pictures of our new shiny cummins and detroits! lol dennis

my point was : all ive seen from mardtarp is critisizm , and smart a$$ remarks. why??? i dont think theres anyroom for that here. and for your information radish, alot of sleepers way back were aftermarket bought and put on. alot of them were flat top and "suicide boxes". and whats wrong with giving a thumbs up on that biuld, i didnt know he was 14 but now that i do i am even more impressed. im with badluck13, my first biulds were a train wreck but i was still so happy to biuld them. i still have not successfully painted stripes on a biuld, maybe nick can give me some pointers. hey nick keep up the good work, you are way beyond where i was at your age. and radish my name is DENNIS and yes i can be a minace according to my folks, lol. dennis

lol that was a compliment to your beutifull rendition of the bandits truck. like i said before that is my favorite movie of all time, and just seeing your biuld gives a lil tickle and lights a fire under my rear to biuld one for my shelf.

i think it looks fine, obviousley mardtarp youve never seen a flat top sleeper. id like to see one of mardtarps models, all ive seen is critisizm from this guy but no pics of his biulds. keep on keepin on dekefan69 its lookin good! dennis

thanks for the help yall, falcon im definately gonna get a listen for the sweet spot cause i do that alot with machines and what not and your right , when ya here it ya know its good lol. as far as my practiceing , ive got some sleepers i think ill test on cause i can always remove the paint from them, just so i know what its like to actually paint on the model before i totally mess my biuld up. lol glad to know i aint the only one that was nervous bout this jason, thanks. dennis

ouch $41. + $40. for shipping! my atomic has it for $69. free shipping. i only biuld 1/25 but im thinkin bout maybe gettin a couple of those, just waiting to see one biult first. ive heard controversy that the picture on box is not the model inside, i believe the pic is of a 389, i heard somewhere the the actual model in the box is a 378 or something like that. so i think ill wait untill i see mr red oval ( tim ) biuld one up and have a look see at it and get his opinions on the kit. dennis

hey ryan i seen that lil he he!! lol im nervous enouph about it, i will definately practice before i do the truck, im really concerned about the striping, and how to mask it. the stripes will be touching eachother, im worried bout bleeding and peeling paint off with the masking. has anybody tried the new frog "paint tape" on enamel yet? dennis
