  1. well i got a lil update on this one finally !! ;D ;D ;D i still got a lil ways to go before its finished, like the visor and air dam will be painted to match the truck, decals , lights , flaps , mirrors etc etc. i can see the light at the end of the tunnel so i am a happy camper!! ;D

WOW !!! what a great job, that ford looks right at home and you have done some super detail to it. im looking forward to seeing the next of your series. iwhen my dad got back from veitnam he was a fireman for a couple years in avenal cal. and i think i remember seeing pics of like this, lol i was to small to remember then. thanks for sharing this one with us
  8. lol its gotta be the camera cause its blue phone line , i got like 5 floorescent lights on in my model room and it tends to make things glow and look a lil lite sometimes lol
  9. thanks matt, i guess that lil coil for the fith wheel slider lock does look a lil grey, lol but its painted the same color. i might have to hit it with another coat maybe. im waiting on some awesome decals form that wierd decal guy lol then ill clearcoat it and put all the lights, horns mirorrs etc etc on it and hopefully be done!! :lol:
  10. ok yall i got a few more things done: i got the tanks painted and mounted, the dog house insulated, suzie coils installed , the fith wheel release and slider airline on, bumper refurbished and drilled for fog lights. still got a lil ways to go before its done but im happy the way things are goin on it

  19. i would say the main reason for havin an upright exhaust system is to get the noise away from the cab, especialy if you have a set of team drivers. the one in the bunk will really apreciate it

  21. im not positive but i think the ford c600 box truck is shorter then the louisville hauler, but im sure with a lil modification you could make it fit

  23. i got the cab all adjusted , lol no more leaning. i made the exhaust from aluminum tubing, and thanks to a trick past on to me i got them mounted fairly nicely ;D. i got the air breather , radiator and exhaust from motor all plumbed. if ya have any tips or see my mistakes please help me out . lol im getting excited, this will be my second completed build in almost 20 years . waitin on decals so i can clearcoat the cab then finish the exterior. still got a lil ways to go
