  1. i use 3M bondo spot and glazing putty and have good results, i used squadran white putty before and it shrinks too so i changed to the bondo. hope this helps
  2. well i got some outside pics , all i got left to do is put the spare tire rack on the trailer but it was just a nice sunny day so i figured i snap some pics of the ol truck

  4. "purple bath" is castrol super clean or purple power at wallmart. it removes paint and chrome without harming the plastic.

  6. i still got a lil ways to go but its coming together nicely, i got decals on the truck, and most of the stuff like mirrors grab handles etc on. lol yes i dont have the head lights in yet, im still looking for a new set

  11. it still needs the air dam and visor , just waitin on paint. i figured id get some outside pics so the colors would show better. im excited to get the trailer all done and hooked up.

  13. i also use a scribing tool and scrape the joint with the point to help seperate the parts then pry with another tool like butter knife or something, lol just dont let the wife know hee hee hee
  14. great job on the 377, i like all the goodies you used on it. i know that paint looks alot better in person, i got a 4300 IH that color. them checkered flags on the fenders really set it off too!
  15. lol yeah i had them taped in and forgot to glue them after i pulled the tape off lol :blink:

  17. well i got a few more things done to the ol kenworth . i got the grab handles on, mirrors, cb and radio antennas, turn signals on and ........ oh yeah my decals came in!!!! woooo hooo!! about the only thing left is the air dam and visor, just waiting on paint to be done for them and i think this bad boy will be complete, now i can get to work on the great dane reefer for it. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF IM FORGETING ANYTHING p.s. that is tom inmans real dot number
  18. hey ben where did you come up with that magazine artical ? its got 2 good lookin fords in it, i like them old viking freight fords and kenworths.

  23. i got the trailer started , still got a ways to go. the rims are temps and the box is just sitting on the suspension.
