I give the lonestar 2 thumbs up !! The minor problems with fitting and instructions are easily overcame with perservearonce and want to build the kit. Mine is not complete cause I. Have other projects that got my atention rightnow, however from what I have done it is a very nice model to build , but like mentioned above it is a medium to difficult skill level project , I think that's because it is so detailed. I look forward to more model trucks and trailers from moebius

Well chuck he does have ligitement complaints. I don't think its right for you to put down any builders car or truck. How many lonestars have you built? In fact I've seen a lot of "car" guys build there first truck and they blow mine outa the water. I think gary just may have had a minor bad experiance but is gonna jump back on board and handle it just fine. Maybe you should be a lil more encouraging and offer some advice, ya know the more truck modelers we get , the more trucks we might get to see hit the shelves. Next time you think about bashing a "car" guy building trucks take a look at one of doubled's builds

Hang in there gary !! Your right about the instructions being a lil less then desired but I have found this kit to be one of the better kits out on the market today. Take a second breath , and own that sucker!! I look forward to seeing your acomplishment here on the forum

I got one of porky's cab and hoods and I think its around a 63' or so, its the one peice tilt hood. It is a really nice cast

Post some pics of that end dump in the 1:1 section , I'm sure it will get abused cause there's lots of guys that build them here Wouldn't hurt to post detailed pics of that driptroit there for the detailers

Have fun with the big house, I'm with gordon....... long hood it then build an old kentucky mover trailer for it and ya got a bed bugger. I bought a few things from "transtar" myself a couple years back he does some nice work

Mike go to the walmart and get ya some beeding wire from the beeds and .crafts department. It come with 12 3 yard rolls in different colors, not that color matters cause your gonna paint it anyways. For all that wire its only $5! It is perfect size and stiffness for wireing , fuel lines etc etc

Yes sir that's like the one I got , except mine is a copy somebody made from drenen/ppvintage and its a lil bit ruff lol. I got it off evilbay for $50 so I figure for that price I can clean it up

Chad maybe you can get one of dave carey's (cargostar) day cabs and cut it in. I can see how it might be hard to find a full cab cause them things are still so new.

A ups delivery van? If I ain't mistakin ups has their own shade of brown, you might could get some mixed for it at scale finishes if they don't allready have it made.

I have one of them W900L aerocabs with the big condo sleeper, I believe mine is all drennen/p&p. I heard a lil roomer a lil while back that "somebody" is workin on another cast for this awesome kit
