  3. howdy yall, i made a boo boo . i used dry rub lettering on my pete, well i messed it up and now i need to remove it . does anybody know how i can take them off with out hurting my paint? i used testors rattle can enamel. thanks for any help with this problem
  4. i got the black pin stripe divider on, the rear suspension bags painted, the motor, tranny and radiator installed. still got a lil adjusting to do on the cab mounts. i also got the hubs and brake drums all painted and put together. slowly but surely lol !!
  5. have you tried lifting the motor up enouph to have clearance? also im not positive but i think if you used a 1/25 front fender it will problly take away the "flat spot" look and be more rounded to the tire. good luck i cant wait to see this one finished maybe you can talk somebody that has a revell ford aeromax 120 into trading you motors, they come witha 460 cummings and an 18 speed tranny

  7. Yea Porky = Eric is a real good resin source for the big rigs. yeah what they said!! lol GET IT AT PORKY'S ppvintagekits.com he has alot more then just whats on his sight, if ya dont see what ya want then just slip him an email.
  8. sweet job on this one tim, you sure nailed that truck. and those pinstripes do add alot of charactor to the allready nice paint job
  9. well i got a couple small things done today, a lil paint on the cab , mudflaps on the quarter fenders and the front drum inner mounts cut back and painted. lol slowly but surely ;D ;D ;D heres a pic of a stock front drum next to the modified one for the center steering look

  13. i think i remember them blue striped and i definately remember the white and green one in the last pic, but didnt they have a lil fancier green paint scheme in the early to mid 80's ? i wanna say they were nice lookin KW w900's and i think the big P was in three differant shades of green on the trailer and on the air dam, lol but its been a long while. im lookin forward to watching you build this one for sure tim.
