  1. I'll be there with Ron Andrews working the Race Motor Replicas tables, stop and say 'hi'...(and spend money on our resin, heh heh heh...) Steven Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  2. Contact Ron Andrews, phone # 814 -337-4250. He owns RMR resin, and used to do a lot of 1/16 stuff....currently does mostly 1/24-1/25 scale stuff, but has a lot of 1/16 stuff laying around........tell him Steve Zimmerman sent yah.............Steven Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  3. This is available in resin from Ed Fluck II based on the old AMT El Camino, and from Flintstone, based on the R/M 60 Impala....both are nice to work with.....Steven Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  4. ...(AHEM)....the Chevelle wagon has rear coils, not leaf springs(SHAME on you,Jairus) :+) watch for binding of the lower rear control arms on the frame, upper control arms need modified too,I actually sliced mine in half lengthwise, and shortened the mounting bosses. The rear wheel wells allow a lot of lowering, you may need to remove/modify the front inner wheel wells tho. If you go too low,the front cross member drags,as do portions of the exhaust system, especially if you use headers.......Steven Zimmerman aka theZman
  5. That's just plain....beautiful ! !! ....Steve Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  6. I believe PSF Hobbies casts one...sorry,I don't have their website address........Steve Zimmerman
  7. Sorry to hear that....I mastered that RMR piece, and have not seen one finished yet....Steven Zimmerman, aka the'Z'man
  8. Which RMR piece did you start with?......Steven Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  9. RMR casts a two door Chrysler 300-C SRT-8 in resin with the small chin spoiler, side ground effects, and small rear deck spoiler....Steve Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  10. Jairus,somehow I just KNEW you were a 'Floyd' fan(grin)....Steve Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  11. too loose rims, wrap rim im masking tape, pinstriping tape, etc. till tire fits .....Steve Zimmerman, aka the'Z'man
  12. I lowered mine by adding 1/8"blocks of plastruct about 1/2"long between the frame rails and the upper 'A'arms;attaching the lower 'A'arms to the frame then CAREFULLY bending them upwards then adding shortened coil springs(or airbags made from 'O'rings around a cylinderical piece of plastruct).. I also reworked the spindles and moved the mounting points for the wheels/brakes higher. You may also have to modify the spindle swivel points on the lower 'A'arms, depending on how much you bend them. Be careful, you can actually lay the frame on the ground if you take this too far..........Steve Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
  13. testing....
  14. I was there for the second time, helping Ron Andrews vend(RMR). We went up friday and stayed at Mark Smakal's place, and I got the two dollar tour of Ray Parsons shop(R&R Vacuumcraft) on saturday, then hit every hobby shop we could find! The show was great, with close to 500 models on the table, good group of vendors, but almost three bucks for a hot dog! It was a great show, though, and I'm making plans to go again... 'Highly recommended'......Steve Zimmerman
  15. I've done this also,on the rear tires from the AMT Prowler and the R/M Silverado/59 'vette front and rear tires, only I use a new single edge razorblade. Go slowly and carefully and it works well, using the tread pattern as a 'cut' guideline. I also use superglue to 'put em back togedder'....this is much harder to do with the soft rubber tires like you get from Pegasus, etc. but can be done ifyou insert a rim into the tire to give it some stiffness. 16. Just joined a couple days ago,and learnin how this site works....see a lot of familiar names here.....Steve Zimmerman aka the'Z'man
