  1. My absolute favorite model of all time was/is the AMT 1940 Ford. Never new why really just love the car. Great job on the diaroma also.
  2. Ok. I'll admit I seeing if I can actually post a picture. But I'm also showing that I have a work area though not one as elaborate as some of you have. I'm getting going building model cars and trucks after a very, very long time away from it. I would actually be embarresed to post some of the ones from years ago when I look at the work you guys do.

    Restoration

Good Lord the detail and workmanship is scaring this returning to models after forty + years away. Looks great to me.
  4. I just got back into meodeling after a forty year+ break. I am amazed at the quality of craftmanship I am seeing on models such as yours. I'm having trouble seeing so I bought one of those lighted magnifiers now I have to get used to it. I'm starting out building a box stock 63 Ford. Simple paint and build projects for awhile till I get back in the saddle so to speak. Beautiful build, real nice. I hope to reach your level someday.
  5. How about the old ALA Kart kit. A George Barris design. Any of you remember that one?
  6. I have looked through the forim sections, on the workbench and under glass and can find no one that has built or is building a 1950 Chevy Truck. I was wanting to get some ideas. Anyone out there got some ideas, thoughts or pictures?? I'm sorry I just found the truck section.
  7. For the past week or so I have been admiring the work that I have witnessed in this forum. I was going to start building a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner and detailing it as I have seen on other models. Common sense tells me that perhaps I should just paint and build a couple of models and then start detailing in stages. For instance wiring the engine compartment, then move on to brake lines, gas lines and so forth. The quality of craftmanship that I am seeing simply boggles my mind right now. If I hope to ever get to your level it must be through steps taken one at a time.
  8. That is absolutely fantastic. Great paint job and the detailing is awesome. Being new, it's been forty years, the workmanship on the models I am seeing is making me think maybe I better try something else.
  9. I have just gotten back into modeling after what I thought was a forty year break. My wife reminded me that I did some ten or twelve years ago and everything was packed away in the attic. Got it all out and got my area ready. Do I have a great wife or what?
  10. I just purchased this kit a week ago and have not had a chance to build yet. Good job, looks like a nice clean build.
  11. Getting back into modeling and looking forward to many hours of enjoyment.

    '69 Plymouth GTX

I built many models when I was younger, much younger, and have just started getting back into modeling. Your 69 Plmouth GTX shows me how much this hobby has cahnged in forty years. Great job. I just hope I can do half that good at this.
  14. I have been looking over some of the photo's of projects and I must say modelling has changed form the sixties when I last built model cars. I am getting back into this hobby as it is something I always enjoyed. I am however some what intimidated by some of the craftmanship I have seen.
