Thinkful Wishing about Round2 Models, future Kits.

Add a Bob Glidden Pinto to those two, and they will not stay on the shelf. -
From Slixx Facebook Page (March 25) Slixx Decals We wanted to share an important update regarding Competition Resins. After over 30 years in business, he has made the decision to semi-retire. Fortunately, he plans to continue providing us with a limited selection of bodies and parts. Many bodies and parts will be going away and are limited to stock on hand. We have updated the website to note the products that are being discontinued. Also mentioned Competition Resins Website is shut down

Be still my Heart !!! -
Have had several dealings with Speed City. First went perfect, second one went to site and said out of stock sent an e-mail saying i was interested when they came back, about a month later an email came back asking if I was still Interested, I was and ordered the car body, very pleased the way it went down

Get someone to 3-D print them, sell as aftermarket
-
Always thought this was a no-brainer, put a set of Glidden-Allen decals in it and watch it sell. Then put the original Dyno Don and Gapp and Roush in the re-issues.
-
It was meant to switch between a gasser and a altered, do not know about the model, but real car also had provisions to install engine in different locations on chassis, along with moving front suspension. I read somewhere that MPC had a deal with Ohio George to build a different car every year, MPC would do a model of it and George could race it or put it on the show car circuit, which is basically what happen with the Maverick. The deal fell apart after the Maverick. Off Topic, When Round 2 was doing the Ohio George stuff a few years ago always thought they could of done his Turbo Pinto BB/MC and the blown BB/FC Mustang with a Ford engine They sort of had both kits in their inventory.

A few years ago Round2 did several Ohio George Montgomery, I thought they should have taken their Hot Rod Magazine Mustang funny Car and made different decals for his BB/FC,(at one point it had a blower then a turbo). Then they could have done his turbo pinto, the 75 car looks like it would just need a decal package,(I know it is a 75 and his car was a 74)

Thanks again, man I am getting old. I have both kits (both built) I remember buying the first one, but do not remember getting the second one, but I have it with pants and all. Terry

Thanks for the info, do not ever remember seeing the first one in you pictures. Did it have the wing mounted behind driver like picture shown, if so I do not remember if Ivo ever had a setup like that. That would be more like the Spirit TF that Arnie Behling drove.
-
Sort of disappointed the Ivo dragster does not come with the Wheel Pants and different nose option, like on the original kit. Or maybe they will do it on a 2nd release of the kit with just the wheel pants and nose, just thinking out loud.

I think it is the 1963 Lotus 29
