  1. I find that Microsoft powerpoint is nice for having an array of fonts, colors, and being able to angle or arch the lettering. Once I get it how I want it I take a screen shot and then paste it into Microsoft word for printing.
  2. Would there be any interest in some Carrier reefer units?
  3. Looks great! What did you use for the canvas?
  4. After a long break from building to get some other things started, I am back to working on this truck. Here is the 70" ultra sleeper. I still have to add rivet details and slam locks.
  5. This week's new product, dump truck exhaust pipes!
  6. I think you are talking about the trailer that Gary Wallace offers: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/?showtopic=72550
  7. Yeah, most were completely flat until around 1996ish, then they were flat with an angled switch box for a few years, then they became more of the wrap around dash. If I remember correctly, the Aerocab models got the wrap around dash when they came out in the mid 90's though (or perhaps it was just an option at the time, I'm not sure).
  8. They used a flat dash up until around 1996.
  9. Is there any interest in an updated dash for the Revell W900 snap kit?
  10. Yes it does. My goal is to have a wide variety of tires, rims, chassis parts, and hopefully some conversion kits done by the end of the year. I have masters for most of these, it is just time consuming to make molds and cast all of these all at once. I have to work on one at a time. I should be rolling out a new product every 2 weeks or so.
  11. Unfortunately I do not have an Alps printer, hopefully someday. This is why my decal selection is limited at the moment. The decals are printed on Papilio waterslide decal paper. This works well for small decals. but is not ideal for every type of decal. I hope to, but I have a lot of work to do before then!
  12. That's part of the plan, but it might take a little bit.
  13. I wouldn't go that far Ben, you're stuff is amazing! I have a set of your stemco hubs, rims, and tires on one of my builds sitting next to me and they look spot on!
  14. Here is the Aerocab that I have been working on. Still needs a few tweaks.
  15. Yes I plan on going to the Utica show. I am hoping to have a few new things by then.
  16. Thanks. I still have to add rivet detail and door handles to the sleeper, but it should be pretty nice. That is a W900L hood. I am actually making 2 different W900L hoods, a straight cowl version to fit with the B model cab of the Revell snap kit, and a curved cowl version to fit with the AMT T600 cab, as well as a modern Aerocab and sleeper that I am making.
  17. Some teaser pics of things to come. I've been working on a few masters:
  18. Thanks for the tip! I just added some watermarks to the pictures.
  19. I have the masters made, I just have to make the molds. I'm planning to have a few options in that size in the next couple weeks.
  20. Many of you have seen my thread about modern big rig tires, now I wanted to share my website where you can see all of my parts. Over the next few months I will have many new parts coming. Hope you enjoy http://kdhumphr.wix.com/double-take-replicas
  21. For anyone who is interested, I have created a website for my parts. Lots of exciting things will be coming in the near future. Here is the link: http://kdhumphr.wix.com/double-take-replicas
  22. Thanks Justin! I hope to have a stock of items to bring to Fulton this year. It's coming up quick and I have a lot of work to do before then! Not to mention I would like to build a new truck to put in the show by then.
  23. No problem. I am making molds for the 2-holes today, so I should have some cast by Monday. Here are pictures of the masters that I am using for the molds with Italeri tires. I have the molds for the 24.5" 5-hole rims done as well as my brake drums, drive hubs, stemco oil hubs, and hub caps. Here is a full set of the 5-holes:
  24. The problem is that Italeri wheels are not to 1/24 scale. Ever measure one? They work out to 23" in diameter in 1/24 scale. They work out to 24" in 1/25 scale however.
  25. They are 1/25 scale, but the 24.5" rims actually fit the Italeri tires perfectly.
