  1. Here is a complete wheel set. I have been building up a stock pile of my stemco oil hubs, brake drums, drive hubs, and hub caps. I have 2-hole and 5-hole rims in 22.5" and 24.5" sizes, but I am still working on making molds for all of these.
  2. Yes Ben makes great parts, I have used many of them in the past. My parts are of similar quality. I strive to use my 3D CAD drawing experience to make the most realistic looking parts that I can.
  3. Thanks! I have thought about making some super single rims and tires, I just have to have the time to draw them up. At the moment I am busy making molds for the 4 tires that I currently have, as well as an assortment of rims and other parts that I have 3D printed.
  4. First tire fresh out of the mold. All in all I am happy with it. I also have a picture of the tire on one of the new rims I will be casting soon.
  5. Here is how the RY617 tires will look on the 5-hole Budd rims and trailer hubs I am making.
  6. I got the 3D printed pieces today. I need to clean them up a little and then make a mold.
  7. I got my first set of 3D printed tires today. I want to make a few tweaks and have them re-printed before I make a mold, but all in all they came out pretty good.
  8. There's still plenty of people who build fleet trucks and want 2 or 5 hole Budd wheels. I'm sure Ben knows better than anyone since he sells them.
  9. If any of these trucks were offered in 1/25 scale resin conversions for less than $50, would you buy any? I realize some of these are already available, but many are not. I've always wondered why we don't see more trailer conversions available. If any of these trailers were offered as a conversion (most likely based off of the Moebeus reefer), would anybody want them?
  10. Bridgestone M726 EL
  11. Thanks, but I am already having my rims 3D printed locally. Once I get them I will be casting them in resin.
  12. Do you have any pictures of the style you are thinking of?
  13. They are technically R24.5 tires for 1/25 scale, but they should fit 1/24 Italeri rims. Once I cast some up I will see how they look on Italeri rims.
  14. Not ready to sell any yet, and I don't want to get in trouble by selling anything through this forum. I will have a website set up for selling my products soon.
  15. I am working on some rims as well. I am in the process of having some Freightliner rims 3D printed right now. I have already started casting some peterbilt rims at this time.
  16. I would be casting these in black urethane rubber. I have made a few dimensional tweaks to my TY527 tire, as well as drew an RY617 steer tire.
  17. Any market out there for modern big rig tires? Say I were to cast modern drives and steers, any interest? Right now I have a Yokohama TY527 drawn in CAD that I could start casting soon if others are interested.
  18. On the real trucks they were directional. The drivers' side and the passenger's side were opposites: To accurately depict them you would need to have at least 4 different molds, one for each front wheel, and one for each rear wheel since the lug nut detail would be different between front and rear.
  19. Yeah, I would be doing rear ones as well.
  20. I hate to hear that. I hope he's alright!
  21. Anybody heard from Eric over at P&P resin lately? I have ordered a bunch of things in the past and never had a problem. I am looking to buy some more parts, but I can't get ahold of him. I have emailed him a couple times and haven't heard anything back. I hope everything is alright.
  22. Ben Wicker has some very nice rims and tires, some of the best out there. Check them out, class A resins.
  23. I could make them, but unless there is tons of interest in these the price would be pretty outrageous. Since these are directional rims, I would have to make 4 different masters (left front, right front, left rear, and right rear) and then make molds off of them.
  24. For almost 20 years. I wanted to build replicas of a couple trucks that have these rims, but there is nowhere to get scale models of them. When I found out the price to have masters 3D printed to build molds off of I decided it wasn't worth it unless other people were interested as well.
  25. Yes, theirs are the less popular "slanted slot" rims that Freightliner only offered as an option for a couple years.
