  1. These are really a great kit, this is the second one that I am building (I kept the other one as a Great Dane though). I'll keep an eye out for your build, the side skirts will look great on it. Let me know if you want some super single tires to go along with it: http://kdhumphr.wix.com/double-take-replicas#!super-single-tire/cox2 I already have, this piece is actually a resin cast piece. I need to add a little draft angle to the fins so that it comes out of the mold easier. On the third piece I damaged the mold, so now I am adjusting the master and will remold it. I will have it available through my website soon.
  2. I don't think the snow will scare too many people away, they haven't really gotten much there as of now. Most of the snow has been north of there. Typically by this time of the year there is more snow than this.
  3. I decided to try my hand at building a Utility reefer rather than a Great Dane. The Great Dane reefer does share a lot in common with the Utility version, so the Moebeus Great Dane reefer was an obvious place to start. First thing I did was made a Carrier refrigeration unit to replace the Thermo King that comes with the kit: More to come soon.
  4. And another Prototype... This master had some issues that made it very difficult to cast. I need to remake the master and then remake the mold before I will be able to sell any of these.
  5. If all goes as planned, I would consider selling the hood as a conversion. It is made to fit with the curved cowl cab of the AMT T600 as well. I actually do have plans for a Cascadia. I have been working on it on and off for the last few weeks. I hope to have a drawing finished up in a month of so.
  6. Got some new goodies today! Need some tweaking still, but the basis for the master is coming along. This is made to fit directly onto the Revell snap kit chassis (except the front of the frame needs to be stretched for the longer hood). The interior also fits this new cab. The new dash needs to be tweaked, as it doesn't fit the Revell tub as well as I want it to. I also have battery boxes, air cleaners, sun visor, and rear cab extenders. I'm hoping I can have this all set early next year. I also posted an image of the Freightliner Century last week. Here is it's brother, the Columbia. Which would people rather see become avalable in the future?
  7. I will be there for sure. I plan on having a table set up with some of the parts that I offer.
  8. Haha, I know... Sorry, that one realistically won't be ready for a while. I am using the first prototype on a build right now, and I am working on a second version that will be a little better. I probably won't have that available until early next year.
  9. Thanks guys! Just to let everyone know, I am running a special free giveaway from now until the end of the year. Anyone who places an order before December 31, 2014 will be entered into a drawing to win a free complete wheel set of their choice! Check it out: Free Giveaway!
  10. That looks great Dennis! What did you use for the tarp?
  11. Super singles will be in stock the end of this week! Perfect for drive tires or trailer tires.
  12. Yes I am I am trying to get a bunch of stock built up so I will have a variety of things to sell, as well as a few samples of new products that will be on the market in the next few weeks.
  13. I have one order right now that I will finish making this weekend, and it will be about another week to make 12 more, so around a week and a half at the moment.
  14. Thanks guys! I finally got my other drive tire molded: And I have been spending a lot of time drawing this Freightliner Century, still have a bit of tweaking to do though.
  15. Here's a glimpse of what is coming soon. I just finished molding a heavy duty super single with rim: I have remastered my Peterbilt rims and have started to pop some out of the mold. These will be for sale in a few days once I build up some stock: I just finished the master for a Super Single highway tire and rim, should have this in production in the next two weeks or so:
  16. Hmm, I will have to add that to my list.
  17. I have a 1/25 scale resin cab of an R-190 that I bought from Spaulding trading a while ago. Every once in a while you see one pop up in their ebay store.
  18. Looking good! That thing is gonna look sweet when it's done!
  19. I have a whole list of projects I want to get to... I currently am mid-build on a Peterbilt 379 and a Kenworth K100. I am working on a master for a W900L with aerocab to cast in resin, so I will definitely have to make a complete truck out of one of those I really want to do a "then and now" build of 2 versions of the same truck. I have pictures of a particular Kenworth K123 when it was new, and I know where it is currently sitting in a field. I took a few pictures of it in it's current run down state (missing a few parts and pretty faded/rusty). I want to build a model version of it as new, then a weathered and run down version of how it looks today. I also have plans for a stainless steel Great Dane reefer as well as a Utility 3000R reefer.
  20. I smooth out the rivets on the roof. If you look at reference pictures of the real truck the roof was smooth with no seam or rivets on the top.
  21. Thanks, yes a visor for the W900 is in the works.
  22. Tired of the Revell snap kit 359 models not coming with a sun visor? Problem solved: I also now have steps for the side of a dump box or dump trailer:
  23. Computers are only as good as the person using them. Just because it was made with a computer doesn't mean that someone didn't spend hours mastering it.
  24. Is there a big following for 1/32 scale trucks? It seems like most kits are in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. I could probably do some 1/32 scale things if enough people show interest.
