Very inspiring work here. You have got to be the cleanest builder I've ever seen. Looks like real aluminum in the trunk. Like the back plate maybe? Steve

Nice clean build, looks sharp. I hope it don't roll back in to the water.. Steve

Thanks, I was looking at reference photos of blowers and saw a black one, it just hit me as the perfect match for my black and white theme. And you don't see too many of them. I guess I never thought of that either, thanks for the tip and I'll remember that next time. Steve

How cool, I'm glad this has been accepted so well. Thanks everyone for the great comments. The kit has raised lines on all of the glass and I just carefully hand brushed acrylic black paint on the inside doing my best to stay outside of the lines. I wish I could remember specifically, it was a very old die cast racing Viper my son had probably 10 years ago. White with 2 blue racing stripes down the middle and a wing on the back. Thanks all! Steve

Hello all. Here is my latest completion. Revell 2009 Challenger. Love the kit, the engineering and fit are awesome. Wheels from a die cast viper modified to fit inside Pegasus 23" sleeves. Pegasus tires up front. Viper meaty tires from the die cast in back. Aftermarket racing harnesses. Scratchbuilt: Blower, scoop, pullies and belts. Roll bar. Dollar store flat white spray can. Rustoleum crystal clear enamel clear coat, wet sanded, polished with scratch X. Buffed out with dremel tool cotton pad. I'm not completely happy with the finish. This is the shiniest I have been able to get a finish yet but it still is just not shiny enough, looks "satiny". Let me know what you think. More Photos Here Steve

Honest opinion... Awesome! Very clean build and the engine bay is a standout. Is that chrome foil on the air cleaner? How about some chassis shots? Steve

I drew them up myself in Photoshop and printed them out, I can send you a copy of the digital file if you want to print out your own. Steve

Thanks, I think they fit the style of the new Mustang better. Cool idea, then the Boss 429, the Mach 1. I could get carried away.. Pete J. Sorry Pete, I was just looking for something interesting for my next project, I'll strip the back seats, door panels etc. whatever I can out of it as soon as posible, kidding. Good points though and thanks for your comments. Steve

Thanks everyone. Here are the wheels I used.. RESIN WHEELS I highly recommend them, they are very nice. Perfect castings. I only had to trim down the outside diameter a bit to get them to fit the tires I used, I utilized some parts box trim rings as well. Stewart, most of the filters I use are scratch built using actual paper strips or cut up paint bottle lids (with the filter type grooves). Kaleb, the interior is actually cheap dollar store no name flat black spray paint. I noticed that it's not completely flat and has a sort of "satiny" sheen to it so thought that it would be great for interiors, I guess that was a good call. Thanks. Steve

Here is my rendition of what a Camaro might look like if one were to participate in the ALMS (American Le Mans Series). This was allot of fun to do, the body mods were intriguing and challenging. I didn't have to worry too much about accuracy because this car doesn't exist, so there was quite a bit of artistic license taken. This is the build thread.. ALMS Camaro Build Thanks to everyone who encouraged me along the way in this build, here are the final results. Steve
