that report isnt complete nasa said it wasnt impossible but they also had to do a lot more to the car like messing with the computer to get it to accelerate on its own. so that paragraph is way off. the whole toyota thing is no different that the minority of stupid C6 corvette owners that lock themselves in their own car and dont know where the manual release latch is -
sort of a rebuild based on this video. i plan on adding zoku pipes to mine and probably a crazy paintjob though ive noticed they really dont do wild paintjobs like the Zokusha cars

courts found that out that stupid drivers were causing the acceleration problems, Japan introduced Lexus not too long ago. -

close but not quite on a lot of details like the lack of the twin turbo L,euro bumpers, and seats. but i decided to build something close to it. started with the revell 240z kit took a lot of work to get it presentable. the wheels are fujimi tires are a work in progress. i shaved the inside of the fenderwells in hopes of this being the final stance took a few days but its finally in paint the rest of the parts have been painted with testors metalizers this is the shade of blue im using its Opies nail polish with no basecoat

i actually have molds of those tires just no rubber resin to cast them

getting paid to build a model
Lownslow replied to LAone's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
going rate for me is 100 bucks for a box stock 150 if it involves aftermarket, wiring, or resin, 200 if something has to be opened or overly detailed. -

ive done the same thing in the past doing it by hand. i got mine on ebay from this guy i use shammy and cotton wheels http://shop.ebay.com/blattsbargains/m.html?_nkw=dremel+&_fscr=1&_trksid=p3911.c0.m19 heres a parts list of what i used i promised to my uncle for safety issues i wouldnt show how it would be assembled and im sticking to it but it was pretty straight forward. i got everything at home depot for about 25 bucks -
so i decided to turn one of my old builds into lab rat project, i say the paint on this is 7 or 8 years old now with hand done pinstripping. it was a glossy paint job when it was first finished but years and years of dust took a tool on it,it has minor orange peel something im not really concerned in fixing on it but i need to get that old gloss back out of it. figure if i wreck it i can redo it again or build a new one i have 130 built cars whats one missing of the shelf gonna do. i hit it with compound, tamiya fine and the treatment wax. i started with the hood, you can see its pretty faded and dull. heres the hood after the dimmed dremel method yeah i can do it by hand but i have a short attention span and suffer from hand cramps

this thing was pretty banged up when i bought it in a lot of other glue bombs, the exception was this one rolled so i gave it to my niece to play with while one by one they were destroyed out of the 3 survivors i decided to fix in the future this was one of them. when the wheels finally broke she lost interest and it sat at the bottom of the toy box. one day i went up there to look for it and found it with 3 wheels on it and the 4th inside. here it is when i found it. my GF and i called it "The Mexican" because it reminded her of one of her dads friends who had a el camino that was brazzered out in a similar style. for a while the name stuck then my friend told me theres a narco song about a cool pick up truck called LA Troca Perrona (rought translation: the cool truck) so i decided to rename it La Perrona. i decided on a felt interior cause her friends dads elco had a fully velvetted one here it is after stripping i threw the old wheels out and originally wanted to use these on it but over time i lost interest in keeping them so i switched to the 3 spoke blades and aoshima tires, i molded the roll pans, sidewings and tailgate my GF said it looks better with a spoiler so i added the lip wing once painted i plan on doing the same pattern in felt on the bed. i also cut a small sunroof for kicks. i still plan on using the same exterior colors with more updated graphics
