the Q&A section is so far down the forum most people ignore it if it was uptop it would get more traffic, but i agree with charlies post too

this car fought me all the way when i originally wanted to paint it yellow after running out of yellow i had no choice but to figure something else out. i used a nailpolish color that was hiding in the back of the paint shelf. its not a bad color i was expecting the worse. the car is was box stock before but now its somewhat box stock i changed the wheels for rivi baskets and painted the inserts on the tires flat white. all the gold is humbrol clear orange. it used to be red i was fine with it but for some reason this year it really annoyed me seeing it in red *warning: parental guidance suggested*

shot this with pactra laquers its awesome stuff, yes its very hot but dries quick and hard.

at quick glace it looked like lego plating

yup i assemble and prime the body first even if im selling as a prepaint it looks better in the end, BMF and super sharp blades, i leave them as is if theyre lowriders if i wanna dull them down i coat them with future

i think they all had IRS my 240 did.

started buffing this with less than stellar results the paint i used was pretty contaminated cause it was spotty started assembly on this stared at this for a hour trying to figure out what other wheels i have that might work with this

ill probably finish the car next month, i lost the back chrome piece i made for the back but its coo i got other plans for the back

my friend bought one its not worth the money if i really need to mix some paint ill stick a flat piece of wood into a dremel

true i have 2 of them but i didnt spend over 32$ for them combined. in due time, im not about dead on reps of cars.

i can live with a close representation at 1/8th the price

their laquers are pretty good better than their enamel line by miles

for body work i use evercoat for fabbing parts tamiya epoxy putty

lasts a while
