  1. Thats a sharp lookin' Pete. I knew it would be cool.
  2. Boy, I would fire that guy that works in the shop. He seems to stand around quite a bit and you do all the work. Good progress though.
  3. I see you got a mind like mine. When I was in Kosovo we bought out all the Legos at a German post Xchange store. I need to get more Bricks. I kustom ordered a set of 750 bricks with various parts and pieces for rigs off Lego.com. Looks good.
  4. You wouldn't kit the cab for me would ya and other parts?
  5. Oh man. I gotta watch this one. I love antique rigs. 'Specially Mac's Boss,
  6. Yes I have been on there. They got some good ones on there.
  7. OK finally an update. Recently I aquired a Paystar 5000 kit for .50 at a garbage sale. It has the right length chassis so I am going to use half the kit to rebuild my Dad's 5000 and then use the chassis minus the suspension on my B87 Gun Truck. Here is what I got so far. Had to make some extensions to get it to sit right. I am going to use part of the OEM springs for overloads: This shows the space I need to fill between the articulating part and the suspension: Mock up again: So now I just need to get my wheels and tires 14x24 rear 8 spoke mack rears: Front Wheels 11x24 Mack 6 spoke: This is what I am after:
  8. I need to get this kit to build a version of my wife's old truck she built in high school. Had a 6" lift on 36s with a 454 punched to 468. Short box with mile deep black and bed bars with a grille guard to match. Her ex husband totaled it and blew the motor.
  9. Yeah I got it down pat. I am pretty good at gaging the dimensions on the building using the door size of 6' 6". Most of my stuff is scratched.
  10. I want to do a hotrod 2 door conversion on this one. Need to finish a few other projects though.
  11. That looks like a modded belly tanker for the Salt Flats. Probably was driveable or could be in a straight line for the 5 mile run up and back at Bonneville. Looks like it could win some time records with the right powertrain.
  12. These are all WIP not yet finished. So this is a B87 6x6 Camper: Beacon Shell Light House Service Station: Follow the Beacon to the best gas and lowest prices in town. Bender's Sinclair Casper's Streamline Mobil The original (now gone) Palace Amusement in Asbury Park, NJ
  13. Alright Doc, I am back on track (got a job) but don't think I'll make the Sept. deadline, although I'll give it a hell of a shot. Got a paystar 5000 kit for .50 at a garbage sale and I am going to use it for parts that are missing on my Dad's paystar and then use the chassis and radiator for my truck since it is a perfect fit. I'll order the tires and wheels on the 15th and then figure out the weapons systems. Get pics as soon as I get it going in the next couple days. Everyones wehicles is lookin good. Keep it up. Don't forget to look at my previous posts for inspiration. Happy trials to ya'll in the post appoc world.
  14. On this rig I figured for the bikes. You could use a lighter drivterain for better mileage. Small diesel and maybe an Allison Trans. Highway gears.
  15. Work has slowed to a crawl but am still at it. Had surgery two weeks ago and with only a small check once a month now it sucks.
  16. Looks good but the engine would be a grayish blue. I got this kit and am building a wrecker out of it.
  17. And a Gixxer the way I would build it in Brandy Wine and Gold:
  18. Hood: Front Fender:
  19. First off we got how I would build a 1963 Corvette Gran Sport: Next a 1967 Toronado W30 FWD with twin turbo: Then updated Blazer pics with accurate murals (the faded ones are ghost murals):
  20. ###### wish I had my pics but I am getting a surgery and don't have my Dad's picture of his '63. I have been wanting to do this model because I remember riding in the truck. It was yellow and brown. If you wait for a month or so I will be able to post them. If not sorry. I have two pics front 3/4 and rear 3/4. I would say for everything to be close if you have an itch to start it use a Chevy Titan or GMC Astro kit. The wheels my Dad had the spoke dayton wheels those kits have. It had a short wheel base similar to these kits. Wheels were brown. Lower part was brown and upper yellow. It had a single exhaust with the aircleaner right beside it.
  21. I bought one. I got the paint but I need to fabricate a holmes twin boom wrecker setup on mine. The 77 GMC wrecker unit sucks. Someone is throwing around the idea up in the resin section of building a resin wrecker kit for it. I am still trying to find proper wheels for the dually setup.
  22. ARTEMIS1759

    some art

Pretty good parallel parking on the top one.
  23. Doc. May not be able to make our build date. My cash just went to next to nothin'. Most stuff I can fab and cast but not sure what to do for the wheels. I'll try and get it done by the first date and hopefully by the second date for sure. I may just see if I can cast my own wheels.
  24. It is up in the Community builds for the POst appocolyptic. It is a 1963 Mack B81 Gun truck with 6x6 and integral sleeper. The thing in the back will be turned into a remote turret mount. I plan to build a bunch of B model trucks in the future that are regular trucks.
