Gator, I'm sure you're referring to the 1/24 Meng F350 and to answer your question I think it would be fine. My design was modeled for the 1/25 Mobius and Revell trucks but the info I got from doing research on the dump beds is that there are tons of styles and sizes. I'll try and do a mock-up with the Meng and post some pics. That'll give you some reference to work with.....

...thanks Mike...lol....

Thanks Matt!

Todd, been working on this dump box of awhile now and it's due back from the printers next week. Though not from the era you want it could be modified a bit to work on a AA, BB truck.

Kustom Khrome Changing Hands
dannyi replied to 426hemiman's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I owe George a debt of gratitude in return. George was the one who reached out to me when I first got back into the hobby to join the Downriver Model Car Club. George showed me around and introduced me to all the members. He made me feel very welcome. We became good friends and George was even casting for me up until we relocated to Wisconsin. George has a great work ethic along with great enthusiasm. I have every confidence in George to do his very best with Kustom Khrome. In fact some of his handy work showed up our club meeting yesterday. The wheels and bumpers were flawless! -
Thank you Ron, really appreciate that. Tim those are the M41 1/25 16" 8 lugs. M41

Scenes unlimited Bronco hubcaps are amazing!

Thanks Paul, appreciate the kind words! Tim, I believe your asking if there is a detailed wheel the hub caps mounts to. Not with the set Paul received. The cap mounts to a modified kit wheel so you can use the parts that come in the kit to attach the wheel/cap/tire to the axles. I started to draw up a wheel and spare but needed to get other projects finished so they got shelved. We do however have a wheel (S09) that the cap fits nicely in. -
Thank you Tommy and Tim, really appreciate the kind words! Nick, I remember that as well. It was a great meeting and a big thank you goes to you and all the members that made Tana and I feel so welcome. The move is going good, we're adjusting well. We really like it here.

Ford AA & Ford BB wheels
dannyi replied to dannyi's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Sorry, should have been more specific. What I'd like to have is more like reference photos. Google has tons of pics but I'm finding it hard to get good close up photos, especially of the BB wheels. Believe the AA and BB wheels are very similar but there are some slights differences. Getting pic and/or dimensions would be even better. It's probably me but I'm finding it hard to find any. -
Does anyone have good clear photos or (maybe a link to them) of the Ford AA and Ford BB wheel sets? Thanks........

Thank you Gator, look forward to hearing from you in the future.....

Tommy, the 4 and 5 hole duallys are available now as well as our 1950's era 1 ton+ 8 hole 20" duallys w/tires.(not pictured). Also the 1/24 16" steel wheels are available with your choice of one of the 5 different front hubs. The 1/25 steel wheel and snow tire should be ready by the weekend. And we're working on the hubcaps now...shooting for early next week on those.
-
..also have these items coming in the next few days....the 1/24 16" steel wheels with new hubs. A choice of 5 different Spicer and Warn styles. I have a replacement for the 1/25 16" steel wheel as well...and a new 15" snow tire.

Got a couple new items added today....I redesigned and replaced the old 4 hole dually set with these 3D printed ones.

Here's my take on this, "meditrans65" purchased the items from me that he's recasting. The M/T Hemi valve covers were given to me by a builder who couldn't find more available anywhere. I made several sets for him and decided to add them to my product line. Same with the Cragar wheels, a request from another builder. In fact 90% of the "kit" items we sell are requested or given to us. I've been told "I picked up a vintage kit at a garage sale or estate sale and want to rebuild it" or "I'm kit bashing and would like to have these wheels and tires" and "I just bought a resin kit and need this or that". The reasons for the requested kit items vary as much as the items do. In the several years I've been casting I've received countless requests for parts and wish I could cast them all. There is not much I can say to "meditrans65" but to go ahead a cast the kit parts. Your quality is atrocious and your ethics and sense of decency are far worse. You will come and go just like several others I've seen in the past trying the same thing. There are reputable casters filling the wants and needs of modelers that have 3 main qualities that keep them in business. 1. Quality items at reasonable prices. 2. Great customer service. 3. Filling a need. There are more factors of course, but these "meditrans65" types will never succeed because they have none of them. Now, with that being said, casting "scratch built" or "one off" items of a any particular caster is definitely crossing the line. I'm all in for doing everything possible to stop them. I've had parts recast by others in the past and completely understand the frustration. I have good number of scratch built parts and a lot of work and time go into each one. For me, in the beginning it was a Dremel tool and sand paper. A hobby lathe came next and made some things easier but still required lots of bench time. I am learning CAD software and this has opened up a lot of possibilities for new parts, but even this is time consuming and requires certain skills that have to be acquired. All and all, a successful resin business requires a lot of time, know how, and discipline among plenty of other things. Someone trying to steal those efforts for their own gain is totally unacceptable. Bottom line, it's hard to stop these unscrupulous individuals from trying, but once they are exposed we can all pitch in to make everyone aware and do what we can to stop them.

...been learning CAD programing the past 3 or so weeks to take advantage of the 3D technology that's out there. Decided to try my hand at a correct scale hub cap for the Bronco kit. Needs a little tweaking but I'm happy with the results so far.

..got the bed of the box started, hope to get back to this soon......

Hey Joe, sorry for the super late response, things around here have been crazy busy for us for the past few weeks. I'll definitely look into those wheels since we have a larger military tire coming up soon.
