  1. hi ya,I am trying to build 1/8 32 now and need parts.where is your site at.....the web address.and yes those parts look great.that looks better then any thing I have seen....amazing work.Thank you,Chris
  2. I understand what has been said.I don't look at off-topic for Drama.lord knows I have enouch.I look there cause it is first and cause there are some model related subjects that I want to know about.I think that 1/1 goes hand in hand with our hobby here.I would like to see a place for motorcycles to....I have and still build them, but mostly I build trucks.if there is room there should be a place for both off topic and general discussions.I don't like no bad language or crude jokes or putting other model builders down.the subjects we build are art.....just because we mite not care of the subject or think it is not good, that is are opinion.the builder gets to look at it the way he or she thinks......that is art.....in my opinion.Thank ya,Chris
  3. hi,I like the 32 you built here, that engine looks great.nice work.I have a question, where do you get 1/8 engines, rims, tires and the front and rear axle and suspension from?thank ya,Chris
  4. I know about the Tamiya VW engine.I don't want to spend 25.00 dollars for just the engine.I will if I have to.I have a revell buggy that the engine...to me is terrible and the other engine looks a little better but still is god awful...to me.I did not know there was other VW engines in plastic.I guess I will look at some of the other kits that Modelmartin and Craig Irwin has suggested. Thanks both of you.I agree if there is no resin VW engine in resin, there should be.I always do my best to build combo's that could work in real life.would a Porsche 356 engine work in a buggy and would the transaxle take the HP and Torgue from the 356? Thank ya all,Chris
  5. hi All,is there a resin VW engine.I'm in need of a VW engine for a dune buggy I'm building.Thanks to all,Chris
  6. Nice looking A4 you have started.I like as well the BTCC I don't get to see any most of the time but still pictures are better then nothing.the cage and body, floor pan look nice.post more pictures when ya can.Thank ya,Chris
  7. I don't know what was said about this Trans Am post.but I don't say I don't like bad language and putting people down.I'm thankful that this is watch over by Harry so we can have a good look and learn something we don't know.I have never seen anything good come from putting others down.....so thank you,Chris
  8. YYYes!! that is great news.I wanted this for along time.I'm intersted in it all but mostly prostock.Thank ya for this news,Chris
  9. Ok,....mine is ,why are the kits not rite....accurate to the real subject.Tamiya....to me seem to be the best at accurate models.I know they are not perfect either.but most of the others are way off and some are up in the night as far as what they make for us all to build.I accept it but don't like it.I wished I could say I feel better about....but I don't.I don't let it stop me.and I know they could do better.if Tamiya can so can the rest.I know they are pricey.I would rather have pricey then inaccurate kits.I hope nobody is upset at me.Thank ya.Chris
  10. great looking buggies,I pickup one of these revel kits.and it has no instructions for it.does any of ya all have a copy that they could scan and email to me? thank to all,Chris
  11. Ok,Thank you Mike.I'll go see what I can find.Thanks,Chris

  13. Ok Mitch,be easy with your self and the models.its ok and can be fixed.first off, nothing is perfect to the artist,he or she always has mistakes or parts there not happy with.others think its perfect but you....the artist....no's it is not..its ok...normal.and yes we are all artist here, this is art!!!.as many have said just get the model out of the trash, have it take a swim in the purple pool and start again.yes you need primer, and start with cans, rattle or spray cans....and use Tamiya...it works great.thanks.Chris
  14. hi, Welcome to a great forum.there is alot of talent here.askig questions about building models, you eed to be clear about what you are after to know.when or if you are buildig a kit now? ask about things you are working on.good luck and keep building.Thank you,Chris
  15. hi, Great looking model you have built.love the engine pictures and how it all looks, you did a great job.did you enjoy the Tamiya kit?.I've been thinking of buying that kit.Thank you,Chris
  16. I think that it can be a good thing, but I hate seeing F1 die....but it is going to either change or go away, cause it can't keep going the same way it has been.I use to watch Nascar all the time every race and event, but I only watch it every once in awhile...its terrible.the way it is run,it like they care more about money then anything else.the racing and people are important.caging the racing cars destroy's racing.the racing drivers don't get to push the cars to there max cause the cars are not at there max there locked up in rules for various reasons.sometime is going to change with F1,if they go to Lemans it don't bother me any,it will need to be expanded, but that is great....why not. Thanks,Chris
  17. WOW,That is great, now you can hopefully....finsh the project...and you are right, when you get the customer care you recieved....it goes and does more to better there rep then any advertisement they could come up with.when you work hard at helping others it most of the time inspires others to do better....which this whole world needs to work on.Thank you,Chris
  18. Sorry to hear,it a rotton shame so called people steal others art projects.it great looking.I hope you get it back and if by chance I see it I let you and those people who would need to know....good luck,Chris
  19. Thank ya all for the info.I was hoping that there was a PE set for the kit....but if not then forward I go.I thought I would have to build the fenders my self which should not be to bad.I will look at some racing seats for it and take a look at the Cosworth twin cam motor.I have some work to do for this build,I'm going to put in a roll cage for it as well.I'm put all the info together first.thanks all,Chris
  20. I'm building a Super 7 from Tamiya.its a 24 scale kit.is there any PE or detail up kits for this kit.I'm wanting to change the fenders to the cycle fenders and put racing seats in it...thanks to anyone who can help.Chris
