if you have a Micheals crafts near you ,they have products in a line called ( scene o rama)bases ,ice effects ,snow ,different grasses ect,they are meant for school diorama products and are not as costly as going to your local train shop .check them out at SCENEORAMA.COM .they are really cool .thay have video tutorials and so forth ,hope this helps.. jim

i build all types of plastic and resin models,i love cars of the fifties but will build ships ,planes figures military ,anything when i need a change.im an avid dvd collector ,i love movies ,i have over 500 regular movies ,70 blu-ray, and 60 + tv series i also have 3 teen sons who need less and less of my time so i find im having more time to build or surf the web and see what everyone else is doing,i also work making other people rich as an nc turrt/laser operator... jim

three modelers a car modeler ,a plane modeler and a ship modeler, were walking on the beach ,they came upon a bottle ,the plane modeler picked it up and wiped it and a genie appeared , the genie said i will grant you all one wish for freeing me, the plane modeler quickly spoke up and said he would like for him and all plane modelers in the usa to have thier own island with all the kits and supplies to last forever ,and poof he was gone, the ship modeler then spoke and said he also would like an island for him and all the ship modelers in the usa ,with all the kits and supplies they would need forever, and poof he was gone, the car modeler looked around and then said to the genie, do you mean to tell me all the plane modelers and all the ship modelers are gone away,the genie answered yes ,now what may i grant you master, the car modeler smiled shrugged his shoulders and said Ill have a coke...

I was at that show yesterday ,there were some great paint jobs the diorama in the tv was a cool idea ,also picked up a couple things i post them in "what i got today " after i upload the photos from my camera.. jim

I have a Tamiya Honda city tubo kit #2430 it has a Motocompo mini bike ,i dont know if that was mention in the mini bike conversation ,it also has a cool driver figure ,and all the parts to motorize it .. jim white

today i made it to a small hobby shop ,(there are none around me here in mass,so its rare for me to get to one)and found a 1970 challenger for 5.00 ,i got my first bottle of alcade chrome,a bottle of model master flat interior tan,a roll of 10 millimeter tape with dispenser,2 tubes of testors glue,the latest issue of fine scale modeler,i was hoping to get a can of testors laquer rootbeer but they dont carry the laquers there.they do have some at my local michaels ,but not rootbeer... jim
