do you mean there are things like? ships, and planes, and tanks oh my! and trains and flying saucers,and blimps. and dogs and cats and birds and monsters and super heroes and body parts and see through people.

somebody on here uses a 50's style pinup with their id .i am sure they have suggestions or let you copy theirs .

just saw the video on the local news a police bomb squad chevy suburban responding to a call basically cleaned out the right front end of the camaro. they said somebody was injured not serious

while filming the new transformers movie the bumble bee camaro was totaled in a collision with a police car

since someone gets to name your build may i suggest one for you.i think it would be fitting and interesting to see your veiw and build of THE GENERAL LEE AFTER SITTING ON UNCLE JESSE'S FARM FOR 30 YEARS. just a suggestion.

the dodge truck that came with the flat bed and 40 ford. would a resin bubble nose white cab work with this chassis. my uncle drove one of these old whites single axle with a sleeper and i would ride with him on in state trips.i know you truck guys know the right name and series for both these trucks

thanks for the suggestions i owned 2 delivery sedans one was just basic 6cyl.3spd.w/overdrive rubber floor mat drivers side seat only vacuum wipers no radio. the other which is the one i want to build i purchased from a funeral home it had a 348 4bbl.turboglide ,the back was carpeted with full interior trim . i think they used the trim from the yeoman wagon. the only body alteration they made was a small bump at the end of the quarters to accomidate the belair tailights it was done nicely but just looked a little strange from the side. i will be the first to admit i might be in way over my head here.maybe i will build the basic model

i would love to post some pictures but my camera will not up load to the computer. so here is basically what i am wanting to do. i have a resin 1958 chevy delivery sedan. i had a real one that was built by superior for a funeral home with full impala trim and interior. what iam wondering is since the revelle 58 has seperate chrome would it be possible to sand or file this chrome to use on the delivery sedan without looking too thick.as i have said iam not a master builder so i need any suggestions i can get. i have several junk diecast 58's with very similar chrome to the revelle kit

on the real car i used a door off a 2dr. sedan biscayne on the delivery sedan so the door length was the same the yeoman wagon was the same too and just had to switch the chrome. i know this is a real one off build and probaly a project for a much better builder.it also had the chrome strips off the 58 nomad wagon on the tailgate

was the superfly pontiac and the welcome back cotter pontiac similar or based on the same kit

boy this place gets like a looney tunes cartoon. somebody tries to shed a little light and finds they lit a match in a room full of dynamite. i don't agree with the original post and don't think any kind of rude remark was intended. good intention poorly worded. but the reaction or should i say over reactions make you wonder about the maturity of the people on here. i know the poll that was on here said 40to60 is the average age of the builders on here and most of us don't act our age which is a good thing. but being rude is just childish. come on lets all play nice.

you are right i hadn't given thought to the rearend of the body.i think my car had the tailight housings off a belair .it has been along time ago but superior might have reworked the tailights. it had 2red tailights on each side with backup lights mounted either side the license plate

very nice build with a great inspiration for it. my mother is a cancer survivor 40 years and i drove her for her chemotherapy many times. there is always hope. best of luck to the both of you. i know kenny well he is a straight up person to deal with.

with my building ability i would end up with two junk models thanks for the suggestion

i am needing some suggestions. i have a 58 chevy delivery sedan resin body. it correctly has base model ,biscayne/ delray, trim. i had a 58 delivery sedan way back in 1972 my delivery was built by superior coach,it had full impala trim and was built for a funeral home.so here is what iam wondering how to add the impala trim . i have a revelle 58 chevy ,since the chrome is seperate and not molded in do you think it could be sanded or filed on the back side to fit with out looking too thick. any suggestions or tips would be a big help. thanks Ralph

they did use the jeep surrey they also had either aspen or volare wagons without doors and a surrey style top . i remember seeing a picture of a surrey type vehicle from fantasy island i remember it had a picture of tatoo in a circle on corner of the box. what i don't remember is if it was a kit or just a toy
