Allright I am going to reup this topic because I have just now finished watching this movie. And I thought the Car chase was one of the best that I have seen from a 1960's movie . Man that Charger was Sweet, too bad it had to be destroyed though. Makes me wonder if any company would end up producing a Kit set of both cars!

Hey Hattley Thanks for the Comment, you guys really inspire me to do my best . I don't have many pictures to show today, but I did allot, First I got the Chrome BMF in the mail, and got it placed on today, So it is my first time placing the CHROME BMF, My real first time with BMF is with Black Chrome and it taught me a thing or to when I put that stuff on the Nova SS. A Few Photo's Well the lighting is crappy. But I think you can see it well enough. Also I will note here that since I bought the BMF direct from that site there was a sticker on the Clear Plastic part that says New and Improved, I don't know how much of that is true though, maybe some of you here do know. Anyway, I since the Engine was dry enough I started to piece it together, Transmission is place on and I got to the Fan Belt Assembly and Fan, now that is drying over night I also put together the Wheels and tires, I did have the Red wall decals on them but I ended up having to pull them off again because one of the Decals was not fully dry, which will lead to another question for a different forum. A snap shot of the Wheels. For the Interior I placed the Firewall and the Pedals, and I am letting that dry over night. I was also able to successfully place two of the Rear Turn Signal lights on the Back and thankfully with out them falling apart or Shifting. I not entirely sure if they are both in the right position but this is where I have placed them on both sides. Well this is all for a productive day today. Thanks for looking.

I Love it! The Paint job and everything else is perfection! I hope to see more from you .

Yes nice and clean, also I use photo's to inspire a look and feel that I desire. Excellent job .

What I really like the most is the Creative Idea, to go from normal average every day, to something with alittle more of a realistic Idea on the use of the Truck. Excellent Job .

Thank you for the compliment. On my first posting I show a 68 R/T that I am aspiring to match, I do have other photo's of the '68 with the Red stripe on back and thought it was a great idea for this model since I am painting it black, so maybe it was a good thing Hobby Lobby ran out of the Flame Black because I really do like this Black color better. And I feel your pain, I have had some issues with other models, and as much as you try to get it almost perfect something always comes up, Orange Peel, Ghost's Etc. So far I have had only one problem and that was on the Hood, a low spot in the Paint In Which I have been trying to get rid of without stripping and repainting, lucky for me it is now only seen under certain lighting. Thanks again.

Yes the Paint and the Black Grille are very appealing! I like it!

Allright thanks, for that info Guys, I will know where to buy it next time . Here's my update for today, I went back to Hobby Lobby as I needed some more of the Flame black for touch ups, and unfortunate to me they did not have any more, as these people are very slow to restock anything there at that location. So I bought some Model Master's Black instead and sprayed it on. The Idea to use the Black stripe was wiped away with my change in black color. okay so I sprayed on some clear after that, Wet Sanded it down, after drying, I used the Testor's Tac Cloth which really helped in getting rid of any scratches on the clear, and then I Placed the Red Stripe across the back. and then clear sprayed again. I then started on the Interior, I am using Testor's Bright Red, I presprayed the Seats, but when I added the Funky Foam to the floor I glued the seats on then waited for it to dry, and sprayed the foam and touched up the seats, seen in the picture below. That's about all I got done. And on my first posting I stated that there were only two Decal SuperBee Stripes, I was wrong and I did not look close enough there are three Red, White, and Black. I used the Red. This is also my first time placing any Decals that big on anything, It looks straight enough, But will be revieled in the end result. Thanks for looking.

Well I Like it! the Diorama goes well with it too. Excellent job. -
Where do you find kits at? Stores, etc?
davyou5 replied to DrewCfromSC's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hobby Lobby, 2 other Local Shops, Evil Bay , and I am seriously considering joining up on Emodels.com. -
Sorry Folks I forgot the Pictures of the Engine. Okay the instructions call for Chrysler's Engine Blue, and I tried to match it, I bought some testor's light blue with no good result, so ended up back in the Hobby Lobby only to still find that they do not have Chrysler's Engine Blue, the closest thing that I can could come up with was buying some Tropical Aqua, and it's close to the color but not that close.

Okay I just wanna add that this figure was not a kit just a premade figure that is probably the most detailed and realistic figure of Bruce lee that anyone will ever see, not like Medicom's toys which look cheap and generic . But thanks for the comment. And after posting him up here I got me a Bruce Lee Marathon urge too .

I am not a big fan of the Stangs but that is one realistic looking Chassis you have going on there. I like it.
