  1. This kit was cool to work with. Another great model from Tamiya. I know there's other model kits out there (Like Dragon)that are better and more detailed, but for what it was, I had fun putting it together and weathering it up was fun too.
  2. That model looks really good.
  3. It's from Tamiya. They do really good Armor. They go together so well.
  4. AMAZING LOOKING!!! All I can say is... AWESOME!!!
  5. Here's Christine in all her fame and glory. Just don't get her angry. Film FACTS: Although advertised as a Fury, Christine retained more features common to that of a '58 Belvedere than anything else. Exterior-wise, Christine didn't bare the trademark '58 Fury Buckskin Beige paint nor the gold anodized aluminum side trim and grille. So, I built this kit by using the AMT 58 Belvedere and colored it exactly to the films car. This was a interesting kit to build. Once she was built, strange things started to happen.
  6. Here's the second of 5 of my 1970 Mustangs Project. This is the Mustang Grande. The body and interior is from a Resin kit from BANDIT RESINS. I used Revell's 1970 BOSS model kit as a donor kit. This resin body and interior was wonderfully crafted. It went well together. The only part that I had to scratch build was the rear window and that was not too difficult to do. For my FIRST Body Resin kit build, I think it came out pretty good. I painted it to look exactly like one that I seen online. So, someone out there owns this beautiful Mustang.

VERY COOL!!! Love the color and design. I'm thinking of build one myself in the near future. I want to build it like the one that I've seen in the movie "The Expendables".
  8. As I worked on the Rat Rod, I also was building the regular Model T Ford Pick-Up. Just finished it today. It came out pretty nice. And it went together very well for an AMT kit.
  9. Here's one model that I've seen in my local Hobby Store that I just had to build. As I've not seen anyone else build one at my Model Club and I thought it would be a really fun build. As always, I did my research and I found a SMART car in the internet and I LOVED the color combo. So I built and colored it to look like the one this person online had. Except for the license plates (that I custom made it with my little nieces name). Now she (my niece) says it's her car. Since I brought this model to my model club to show off, the President of the club went out and bought one and made it to a NJ State Trooper car. I also bought another one and stored it away for now. They are very difficult to find as Revell stopped making them. Not sure how I'm going to build it yet.
  10. Love both of them. They came out looking awesome!
  11. Really LOVE that color design!!!
  12. Same here, NEVER cared for the German goals, but their engineering was amazing. This kit is actually a 1/35th scale.
  13. One of my favorite World War II Tanks. The Tiger Tank looked very cool. This is the Early Tiger tank painted in the German Gray. Later on in the war they changed the standard colors to the Dark Yellow color.
  14. This Tamiya model kit is of the early Sea Harriers. It has the markings of the Royal Navy FAA No. 888 NAS Squadron.
  15. This is one of my very few motorcycles that I have built. I love the way the decals and the Candy Apple Red color blend together so well.
  16. This Fujimi Kit was REALLY fun to build. It built smoothly and I believe it's ones of the best Fujimi Kits you can ever put together. As always, I did my deep research and built the Lamborghini's 40th Anniversary Version. Though the kit had the correct decals and stuff, it didn't give you any of the interior color detail nor the Engine Compartment detail. So, I had to research it online to get the interior details. In the Engine compartment I added the Carbon-Fiber detail to make it look more like the real one. This kit was one of my favorite builds that I have done. I love the way the it build up smoothly. The background on this one is Miami Beach Florida at night. I felt it was the perfect background for it.
  17. I used the Testors Competition Orange (1628). Here's quick Fun Fact Trivia - They had over 30 different color General Lee's, from Orange to Red. The reason they needed 30 cars in different colors was because of the lighting when they shot the film. This way the General Lee always looked the same color. But the true color was Dodge's Competition Orange that Testors do make.
  18. I used Tamiya's Semi-Gloss Black Spray Paint (TS29). This color my friend told me was the perfect color for it. He told me that the Car color was right in between gloss and flat black.
  19. Did lots of research to get the color correct and even spoke with a person that saw the actual Movie Batmobile in person.
  20. Here's my 1970 Buick GSX Grand Sport. The paint is not Stock. I decided to do a little bit of a custom paint job and used the custom Rocker Panel Decals as well. Unfortunately they can't really be seen on these pictures. But I kept everything else stock. Also did my custom license plates.
  21. Well, It's mostly cosmetics... The ONLY difference between season one and two is that the General Lee had a Checker Flag and Confederate Flag Decal on the rear upper center of the trunk right where the CB Antenna is located. On Season two they remove that decal but kept everything else the same. Season three and on, there where a few changes... they made the front Bumper Guard Bar wider and on occasion the Cage Bar was painted black instead of the Saddle Beige that matched the interior color. Also the colors of the letters for the name General Lee on the roof changed to a blue on white instead of black on white. LOL, yeah, I made the background look more like the car was in a museum instead of Hazard County.
  22. Yup, I used the bumper bar, the wheels and decals that were accurate for the first/second season. The rest of the kit I used two Revell model kits, the 68 and 69 Chargers to make the General Lee. It was not easy, but if you want to make it look as accurate as possible, you will need to use a few kits. Currently I bought after market decals that are accurate to create the General Lee for season three and up. But I'm in no rush to build it as it took me very long to build this one.
  23. Here's one of five of the 1970's Mustangs. I want to build ALL the Mustang versions that were available on 1970.
  24. As a BIG FAN of the Dukes of Hazard - I just had to build the General Lee. I watched all the seasons and studied every inch of the car, plus did some online research as well. I scratched built the CB Antenna and accurate License plate.
  25. That is correct. It was a yellow Firebird with an ugly over-sized hood scoop. And it belonged to a young man that served in the Army at Iraq.
