Here's the third Camaro of my 1969 Camaros Project. I used the Revell's 69 Camaro model kit. I LOVE this kit I loved the way this color came out looking on this car. It's Testors new "One Shot" spray paint.

It could be. It's been a while since I built this one that I don't remember if it came with that option. Hope you have good luck on EvilBay and win it at a low price.

GUNDAM IT!!!!

Really cool build. -
I used the Tamiya kit instead. To avoid those kind of problems. The kit may be a little more expensive then Revell. but it's looks better and it's a nicer build. The ONLY bad note is that the Tamiya kit does not come with an engine. Maybe you can use Revell's engine and but it in the Tamiya kit. Just a thought.

M-163 A1 Vulcan

Yup, I sprayed the NATO Green and brushed the Nato Brown and Nato Black. All paints where from Tamiya. I had fun painting the camo. It's one of my favorite part of build military models. -
really nice looking diorama Kevin.

Here's another one of my Armor Vehicles. I built this Italeri Kit back on 2006: The M163 Vulcan Air Defense System (VADS) is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) that was used by the United States Army. The M168 gun is a variant of the General Dynamics 20 mm M61 Vulcan rotary cannon—the standard cannon in most US combat aircraft since the 1960s.

One day I was in the mood to practice my photography and decided to put some of my model cars together and take pictures. This is just the beginning. This one I titled "The Italian Stallions" Part 1-A (Ferrari F355, Ferrari 599, Ferrari 575M) "The Italian Stallion" Part 1-B (Ferrari F355, Ferrari 599, Ferrari 575M) Titled "My Other Car" (SMART Car, Buick GTX) Titled "My Little Ponies" (67 Shelby GT-350, 09 Concept BOSS 429, 09 Concept Shelby GT-500KS) - The 09 BOSS 429 and Shelby GT-500KS (Killer Snake) are concept cars that would of been cool if Ford did them. And if I was running Ford, I would of released as Limited Edition Mustangs. These are but a few of my photography projects I have in mind. There's more to come in the near future. So stay tuned.

This was a fun build. Another one that was inspired by watching the TV Show Overhaulin. Model kit from Revell. All sides, trims and rear chrome was done with Bare Metal. One panel at a time. Yes, I used Bare Metal for the rear hatch ribs as well.

Hi David, The body of this old Monogram kit was not in many pieces. If I remember correctly, this body was only in two. I'm on a business trip now, but when I get back home, I'll take a few pics of the chassis for you. Thanks.

Yeah, just right after I finished building the kit. I was cleaning my brush with thinner and I accidentally touched it with my brush. I was disappointed... actually I was REALLY... ANGRY with myself. Don't want to say the bad words.

This one I did finish a few weeks ago. Most of the other kits are models that I have built a few month to a few years ago. Just wanted to share my builds with everyone else. Currently in the last few days, I've been working on a 2000 Porsche Boxster from Tamiya. One of the Managers at my job is a big Porsche fan and also owns a 1999 911 Porsche. I'm building this kit for him. REALLY nice job on those stripes.
-
Yeah, I love this model kit. I like your color combo as well. Did you paint the stripes?

I had so much fun working on my 1970 Mustang Project that I decided to start a new Project. I'm currently working on the 1969 Camaro Project. I built the Plain Jane Camaro, and this is the Z-28 version. It came out looking better then I thought it would. But I let you be the Judge.

Unfortunately it does not flip up.

This Fujimi kit was a fun kit to build. It went together smoothly. And this is one of my favorite Ferrari styles. I painted this kit to look like the one that Will Smith used in the Bad Boys 2 movie. I even used the Miami Beach background for it.

This kit was a bit of a pain to put together, but it looks good. The only thing I didn't like is the way the wheels look. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like the wheels are a bit too big for this body, but that's what the kit came with so I put it together. Besides that, the body came out looking really good.

Here's an early kit that I built back in 2006, just went I started getting back into building model cars. This is an early Tamiya kit.
-
Man, I love those Ferrari's. I agree, there's a few Mercury, Buick, dodge and Olds that look awesome.
-
Yup, you're correct. When I painted this body (about 2 years ago), I put it back in the box and didn't go back to finish it until early this year. Back on those days I was just getting back into building models and didn't prep the models prior to painting them. The paint looked so nice that didn't want to re-do the paint. But now I've learned and know better. I'm still learning new things. That's what I LOVE about building models.

Thank you Boricua hasta que me muera!!!

I won't hold that against you. Chevy did make the 1967-68-69 Camaro's that I do like. Also the 1970 Chevelle's. I may be a Ford guy, but a true Automotive Lover would admire all kind of makes and models and I consider myself an Automotive Lover. It's a good thing to like one make or model better then the rest.

I'm not a big fan of the Corvette, but I do admire the engineering and some of the designs. In all, I always admire great engineering and design of all vehicles (even if it's not a Mustang). The one style I did like allot was the 60's Sting Ray body style. Was not sure at the time of building the model on what color to paint it, then I decided on trying the metallic baby blue with a red stripe to match the red interior. I think it came out pretty nice. The custom California plate has my nephews name. He LOVES Corvettes.
