  1. Love how it's coming out looking. Great job!!!
  2. This is my latest build. It was a build for a Contest at the CAMS Model Car Club in CT. The Theme was "Anything Goes in Memory of Angel Herrera". Angel was a fellow model car builder that pasted away back in September 2010. I built this Lamborghini in tribute to Angel. His last build was a Lamborghini and I felt what better way to honor him then to build one myself. I'll post more pictures on the "Under Glass" section when I get back home to my studio this weekend. That way I can take some really good pictures. But for now, here's my tribute to Angel and my third place trophy that it won. the Lamborghini & Trophy Here's the trophy
  3. Very cool tank!!! I love the camo you did to it. I love those Tamiya kits!!! They go together so great and gives you a nice detailed kit. They are great!
  4. Wayne, that's one beautiful looking B-25. LOVE IT!!!!
  5. My personal experience: UPS is the worse. They are not helpful at all and have no clue of the location of the package except of what you (seeing the tracking info) already know. I had a package coming to me from MA to NJ... and would you believe that the package went from MA to PA then to NJ? That was a waste of time and money (gasoline money). Never had a problem with FedEX. I called them once to see why a package was not shipping that day and the person was very kind and gave me exactly the what, where and why information. They knew where the package was at and in what truck. They are the best in my book. USPS is reliable as well. Not great on tracking info, but dependable. The best way to insure that your packages don't get damaged or damaged really bad would be over-night, Next-Day or Two days. Of course these methods of shipping are more expensive, but worth it. Anything less, you are risking too many people handling the package and damaging the product. Just my two cents.
  6. AWESOME Works!! All of them!!! Looks like 2010 was a great year for building models.
  7. A nice kit to put together, nice interior detail but no Engine detail. Revell has this same model year and they have engine detail. But all-in-all, a nice kit to build. Model: Italeri Kit # 3688 Built: 7-26-10 Scale: 1/24 Model Box:
  8. Nice kit, but it does have a small flaw. If you build this kit. Due trim out the Engine a little. It seems like the Engine is a little too wide for the body. Making it difficult to attach the two halves of the body. But the rest of the kit is nicely done. Model: Hobby Boss Kit # 80329 Built: 2-24-08 Scale: 1/48 Model Box:
  9. Here's my three that popped in my head at this moment. I know there's a few others that I would LOVE to see as a model kit. 1975 Gran Torino 1971 Mustang Fastback (I think there's one out there, but I want one made more accurate) 1979 Lincoln Town Car (this was my firts car I bought with my own cash).

  11. Nice clean build. I like it!!!
  12. Model Kit: Hasegawa Kit 09134 Built: 6-14-07 Scale: 1/48th Model Box:
  13. Very nice build. Love how the color came out. Black is a hard color to work with. It shows any flaw in the primer. You did an awesome job on this one.
  14. LOVE that Mustang!!!
  15. LOVE the detail you put on this kit. VERY COOL!!!
  16. Very Cool looking Racer
  17. VERY NICE!!!
  18. Hi David, Well I finally finished my latest and greatest build yet. As a tribute to a very good friend and fellow model builder. Angel passed away in September. I've built the Lamborghini Murcielago but painted to look like the one that West Coast Customs did on their TV show Street Customs that they named "The Tuxedo Lambo".

  19. Hi David... That's the thing I didn't like. I used a white Primer instead of gray or a darker color (I thought the green would be too dark on gray primer). So the edges of the color green is lighter (I really didn't like that). So the next one I build will look just like the real car (I hope). I'm flattered, thank you. I discovered that accuracy and the little details on models equals really nice looking builds. It gives the simplest model kits that look that you modified or added something extra. I like building straight out of the box, but as you know lots of models out there are not 100% accurate. What counts to me is that everything else is done as close to the real thing as possible. The background is actually a picture of a San Francisco Street that I printed on three sheets of 8x11 paper and used my dinning room table (that is black) as the floor. That table surface gives the picture the illusion of a showroom floor.
  20. I built this Marder III with Marking for the 346th Infantry Div., 346th Tank Destroyer Bttn., 1st Co., Netherlands, 1945 This is a really cool model to build. The body comes in four pieces but it went together very smoothly. The way Tamiya always makes them. I like the way the weathering came out as well. This is one of my favorite armor models. Hand painted the Camo. Added the antenna. Model: Tamiya kit #35255 Built: 2-26-08 Scale: 1/35 Model Box:
  21. This is my Dad's 64 Ford Galaxie. How it looked like after the accident. The original color was black on black. After the accident, he decided to paint it Metallic Green with a white top. Interior was still black. Click on this link to see how the car looked like before the accident. The Original look of my Dad's Car Model: AMT/Model King Kit # 21883P Built: 9-06-10 Scale: 1/25 Model Box:
  22. Not my best build. I'm thinking of re-building this kit again to correct the things I didn't like. Model Kit: Revell Kit # 4233 Built: 02-05-09 Scale: 1/25 Model Box:
  23. That looks awesome!!! Love it!!
  24. Model: Tamiya Kit # 24099A Built: 9-10-06 Scale: 1/24 Model Box
  25. Model: Tamiya Kit # 24166 Built: 9-19-08 Scale: 1/24 Model Box:
