Brief History: HMS Prince of Wales was a King George V-class battleship of the Royal Navy, built at the Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead, England. The Prince of Wales had a brief but active career, helping to stop the Bismarck and carrying Churchill to the Newfoundland Conference; however her loss to Japanese land-based bombers in the Far East in 1941 is one of the events that led to the end of the battleship being considered the predominant class in naval warfare. Yes. This was built before I discovered the magical world of Bare-Metal.

I used Testors Red spray paint. For some reason when I take the photos of my models, the red look like pepper or another off-red color.

I used testors Satin Silver Spray Paint. Thanks. This is one of my best paint jobs I've done.

Really nice job on this model.

I like most of the builds that I've done this year, but if I have to pick one out of them, I must go with the One that I built in tribute to a fellow model builder that pasted away on Sept. 2010. The Tuxedo Lamborghini. Currently I'm working on another project for my local model club contest. It's the 1932 Ford five window coupe, that I'm making it to a Hot Rod.
