  1. This is one of a few models that I've built for the diorama that I've been working on for almost a year now. I'm going to do a scene from the "Battle of the Bulge". Model Kit: Tamiya kit # 35174 Scale: 1/35 Model Box
  2. Model Kit: Tamiya kit # 61018 Scale: 1/48 Model Box

  5. I'm only 99.8% happy on how this kit came out. I was not sure if I even wanted to post it. I'm planning to go back to this kit to fix that .02% that is bugging me. But here she is anyways. Model Kit: Revell Kit # 2534 Scale: 1/25 Model Box

  10. Hey there Chris, Those finger nail decals were the sticker kind. It had a clear background. One thing, be sure of the location, because once that decal touches the model it sticks like glue.

Jay, first welcome to the forum!! Love that model you built. From what I see it's a very clean build!! Very good!! B) B) Now about Camera's: It's true what they say, the cheaper the camera the less functions you'll have. So going cheaper is not always a good thing. Now, if you go to CNet.com you can research the best camera for your money. CNET does review and customers reviews as well. I found this Camera that can do Macro at 0.4in - 19.7in and it's below the $200.00 range. It's called: Canon PowerShot SX130 IS. Check it out and others in CNET. Good luck!

  20. Really nice build. I like it.
  21. This was my first 4x4 vehicle that I've ever built. It was a really clean and smooth build. At the beginning, I was not sure what color to paint the kit. I finally decided on Tamiya's Champaign color. This is also my first attempt on making gold chrome wheels. That also came out looking REALLY good. My little niece liked this model so much that she gave me the little butterfly decals that I added to the kit. These butterflies were actually part of her fake nails kit. I must say, they went together perfect on this kit. As if they were made to be on there. I also created my custom plates with my niece's name. I painted the seats inserts to give it a little more custom look to it and put my little niece's name on the seats. All in all, I really love how this kit came together. Model Kit: Fujimi Kit # 03048 Scale: 1/24 Model Box
  22. Model Kit: Tamiya kit # 35162 Scale: 1/35 Model Box
  23. WOW, AWESOME looking kit. I love it!! :D
  24. Rick is correct. Me personally, I prefer using Insta-Cure + Super Glue. It will glue all parts, even painted parts. A small amount of glue will hold the parts together. Just make sure that you don't stick your fingers together. This is like crazy glue. Here's a picture of the one I use for ALL of my builds (Cars, Ships, Tanks, and Planes). The one thing I discovered is that Testors glue will yellow and the glue will come apart in a few years time. With Insta-Cure, the glue will not fall apart like Testors. I have models that I have built back on 2003 that are still holding strong and it's not turning yellow. Have a Happy Modeling Day, Felix
  25. Things are so bad that I have to go to Tag Sales to get my models.
