  1. Built this F4-E Phantom II with after market decals markings for the USMC VMFA-451 WARLORDS. I just loved the look of the decals. I think it came out looking pretty good. For a kit that I build back 4 years. Model: Italeri #0830 Built: 6-26-06 Scale: 1/48
  2. Love that Mustang!!!
  3. LOVE IT!!! I have the convertible version of this car. I'm not sure what color I'm going to paint it yet. What you used to polish the Tamiya clear with? I use Tamiya Paints and Sprays myself and Love how that shine came out. AWESOME WORK!!!
  4. yup, I tried to do it on one thread, but there was too many images and the system did not allow me to save it as one. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
  5. Thanks. I also love those F-4 Phantoms. This was my first air-brush aircraft camo job.
  6. Here's the Old Monogram F4-C Phantom II. Built this a few years ago. I added the two MiG kills on the side. Model Kit: Monogram 5831 Built: 4-18-07 Scale: 1/48
  7. Love the color. That model came out looking very nice.
  8. Currently I'm working on building Revell's 2000 Shelby Series 1 Model. Model kit: Revell # 2534 Scale: 1/25 First thing I always work on is the body. I prep, prime, paint and add the decals. Then clear coat them. Here's the Shelby Series 1 body painted and clear coated.
  9. Hi David - Well, I finally done it. I have created the "How To Scratch Build a Radio Antenna" in the Tips section. I had to cut it into three parts as the images were too many for one Post. :)

  10. Ninth Step: Use the AXCTO Knife; mix the glue with the Putty. Let it dry for thirty minutes. Tenth Step: Place the Brass Rod into the hole you drilled on the model car and cut to the desired length for the Antenna. Eleventh Step: Paint the Antenna Twelfth Step: Glue the Antenna onto the model. So, there you have it. A simple way to create a Radio Antenna for your model kit. An added item to give the model that extra realistic look. Hope this helps you on your next modeling project. Happy Modeling Felix
  11. Fourth Step: Drill a hole on the model kit at the location of the Radio Antenna. Fifth Step: When the Putty is hard enough, drill a hole so you can slide the Brass Rod through. Sixth Step: After you have drilled the hole in the Putty, cut the Putty to the desired length. Here’s the drilled Putty cut the length I wanted for this car kit. Seventh Step: Slide the Putty onto the Brass Rod. Eighth Step: Put a dip of Model Glue (I use Insta-Cure + Super Glue)
  12. Here are all the materials you’ll need: Materials: Modeling Hand Drill K&S Engineering Brass Rod .020 Stock # 1596 Modeling Putty AXCTO Knife Small Scissors Model Glue Finally the Model Car kit. Here’s the Modeling Putty – I used Citadel Modelling Putty. It last for a VERY long time un-used. Here’s the K&S Engineering Brass Rod .020 First Step: cut a small piece of Modeling Putty. Second Step: To activate you mix both the Yellow and Blue Putty Mix both until the Putty turns Green Third Step: Roll the Putty until you get the thickness you are looking for. Straighten it out and set it aside for a day to harden.
  13. Here's my 1971 Hemi Cuda that I've built back in 2008. The only thing that I've changed/added since then was adding the NY license plates. It was a nice build. It went well together. Model kit: Revell # 2943 Built: 11-19-08 Scale: 1/24
  14. Sharp looking Vette!!
  15. One of the best Diorama I've seen. Two thumbs up my friend.
  16. Hi Cato - Thanks. The base is made of simple Black Foam Board that I bought at AC Moore.
  17. Tribute to the men and women in the Iraq War. This was an awesome kit to build. It comes with lots of goodies. Build straight from the box. This kit was built a while back when I was just starting to do weathering. So, it doesn't have much weathering. This was yet another step to get me to where I'm currently at. Model: Tamiya 35264 Colors: Tamiya Desert Yellow Built: 7-10-05 Scale: 1/35

    1937 Cord 812

Thank you for the info. I was not 100% if it had a fan or not.
  19. Hi Peter - Very good question... To answer your question: "Why did you build it with a European license plate up front and a US style plate in the back?" - That's very simple - in Connecticut they don't need to have the US plates on front (like NJ-NY). And in CT I've seen many BMW, Porsche, and VW with custom Euro Plates on front and the registered license plates on back. Because I was building this kit for my brother that lives in CT, I decided to do that trend.
  20. Finished this model for my brother. He loves BMWs. Enjoy. Model: Fujimi 12205 Paint: Tamiya Gun Metal Spray Paint Built: 9-30-10 Scale: 1/24
  21. This is the the most beautiful Vette I've Seen. Great job!!!!
  22. What can I say... but WOW!!! That's an AWESOME looking Race Car Camaro. Two Thumbs all the way UP my friend.
  23. I don't think there's a difference. Maybe on the 2n1 they may give you additional wheels to create the custom version. But if I"m not mistaken, it's the same kit with different box art.
