I just got in my Chopped Tall T Altered body From Jimmy Flinstones, along with the 34 altered body. That one is up for grabs if someone wants to trade, its in the back ground. Anyways, here is the body for it. I will be putting it on the old JJ Vega frame I finially decided as I want to build the bantom blast with that body. LOL. Hope you like. I cant wait to bust into this one! Jody

Alright, short update on the build. The chassis is half done being built. I finished placeing the decals on the body and have the first cote of future on it. Need to smooth out slightly and do another coat, then try to polish it out some. Thanks. Jody

A friend sent me the Revell 1936 Ford 2n1 kit to build for thier build off on thier group. I was very pleased to find out that it was a re-issue of the old maroon Monogram kit I once had as a kid! Well first thing was first, The wife has the 37 ford kit and has been wanting to back date it. So the first priority was to see if I could swap frames and suspension. It was close enough to do! Of coursenow she has a frame with a floor pan molded in for a kit that has the floor pan molded into the bottom of the interior tub. But we will cross that bridge when we get to it! Now a year ago I used the front crossmember suspension off of that kit for a truck, so I still was left needing a front suspension.I wanted something more modern, so decided to scarf the willys kit. Well looking at it, left me thinking the radius on the rear tubs of that kit were close to the radius of the inner fender wells on this kit and they are not perfect, but close enough to be called good. So that left me needing the rear of that kit frame as well! The interior was a different story. The willys door panels are no where neer close. The kits was old fashioned. If I am doing a pro street, I needed something close. Well, the wife and I swapped interior tubs as well. So I just cut off the door panels and that serllted that. Only need slight tweeking. Now the willys tub was close in width and flare, but too short. So I will have to add about 3/4 inch to it. But most of that will be covered up inside by the back interior wall. However on the bottom, it wont be. But I can add the rest of thew tunnel and add some detail. So a lot of mismatching. But yes it is coming together well so far! Jody

Alright, I got the Kandy Van from Virgil in a trade! Thank you Virgil!! It is a AMT custome Chevy Van kit. Anyways, I had other plans for this truck such as a pull vehicle. However, I had started a 1/16 Mystery machine some time ago that some of you may remember? Well I had traded that off to dragnut this last year. When my youngest saw that I had a van, he reminded me that I had promised him that the next time I got a van model, we would continue to build the Mystery Machine. So guess what I am doing! LOL. I have shortened it up by this point! Need to shorten the interior floor and the frame. Thank goodness its seperate! This will be a slow build, so dont be expecting it to be finished any time soon. Just its here for me to work on from time to time when I get bored of the others. Here is a pic as well for the inspiration. Cant believe I still found it after two years and thousands of photo later. LOL.Thanks. Jody

Cool Drag Race...

Very cool! It was just last week I learned that the king of nascar had drag raced when they changed the requirments on the cars. LOL. Short business on his end. This race may be a indicator of why? Sox and Martin blew his doors off! great footage all the same! Thanks. jody -
Terrific projects! Where in the world did those front wires come from. Those things are the cats meow!! LOL. Jody

Hey, I have a 2.5 foot by 10 foot bench, thats cluttered with junk in the last month and my new office desk I got from my dad cluttered with parts and junk. LOL. all that space does is grow in height! LOL. My actual workspace is just like you have, the pull out shelf for the key board. I can put my model I am workin on on that and work. When Im not working on that, I push it in and forget about it and it does not collect the junk! Its the only clean spot in my half of the basement!! LOL. Everyplace else is already cluttered and piling higher! Imagine a month ago when I finished this room off, it was empty and had tons of space. Now I am tripping over things! LOL. Jody

Gosh I must say, this feels very wierd, posting something finished! LOL. But.... the boys worked overtime today just so they could see the boss take this great car for a quick spin around the building! What a smile it brought to my face! Now since this is a set of wheels for one of our valued customers, I had to pull it around the shop and get a quick picture shoot of it and get it ready to go onto the trailer for its trip across the country! I hope you all enjoy. it certainly is not a perfect ride. But hey, its always fun to let it shake rattle and ROLL! LOL. Jody

Big Bummer! But yes it does make sense. The phone has been hung up on me!! LOL!! Thanks. In one way, that will let us know when someone is done with our conversation. Could be of benefit in some degree when trading etc. Jody

I will be working on a 1970 Chevelle ls6 Convertible. A 4replica of Ray allens Briggs Chevrolet Convertible drag car. I will be hopefully mastering the convertible body for Bandit resins if I do a fair enough job. I am also working with my friend Ed at Drag City Casting on some other details. He has provided me with one of his uptops for the project at what I think is a reasonable price. I will also be getting true 1:1 decals that would have been used on the original car from someone else, wich we will be using to recreate the decals in this scale through another buddy, gregg Holland. If I can get this moving fast enough, I will share it here as well. So keep your fingers crossed. until then, I have the main part of the chassis on the dodge coronet 500 put together and need to put the suspension on it. The interior is almost done, not as good as I would have liked, but I will let it go! The decals have been finished! For the camaro, the interior has been sprayed white and now I need to do the detail work to it! Fun fun fun! LOL. Jody

Hopefully a gasser! I have one coming very shortly. Just ordered a tear drop for the hood from my friend Ed Fluck at drag city casting. Will do a white and yellow fade on mine. Would love to watch another gasser!! Jody
