  1. This time I was looking for a Brazilian car, Santa Matilde SM 4.1. It was produced by Cia. Industrial Santa Matilde from 1977 - 1997. A Chevrolet Opala was the donor car for this fiberglass bodied car. Beside the coupe there were also a convertible available. It was powered by either by a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine. The correct answer were sent in by Bucky Otherunicorn DonW Richard Bartrop Brizio congratulations
  2. Beside my other project (Oshkosh M911 and Mack LT) I had started another one. It will be a logging truck from the late 50's / early 60's. I hope that I got it period correct. The for this one is one of Dan's Model Kenworth kit. I got it a few years ago and I never though to build it because I didn't had an idea how to build it. This one is the worst kit that I had got from Dan's Model it seems that the mold had saw better days. There where some big resin chunks in areas were the mold seems to be damaged. I had to remove the spare post on the driver side step. It was replaced by a square plastic profile. Also the bottom of the radiator was a big chunk of resein. I think I have to rebuild the bottom section of the radiator. The hood had a big dent. I assume that the material is so thin had it could hold it strait. Here I added a brass profile on the inside of the hood to get it strait. There is still dent, but that will be remove with some putty. The chassis was an old glue bomb that I had bought together with a sealed Matchbox/amt White Road Boss.
  3. First mockup of my Mack LT I had remove part of the battery step and replaced it with my own battery mount. The chequer plate is from KFS. The rims will be positioned further out of the wheel.
  4. Let me give an early hint. Part of the manufacture name is a name t is used for a WW II tank or part of of the title of an "unofficial national anthem" (bush ballad).
  5. After a week of thinking I'm back with a new car, that wasn't part of the quiz since it was started in 2010. Yes 21 year we are playing this quiz. As usual sent a PM with Year, Make and Type
  6. I had checked all older Auto quiz that Ken, Matthijs, Harry, Matt and myself did. First off all I found out that the counting is wrong that was a jump from 229 to 300. And around 30 cars were double. I'll made a deep dive into my around 60k pictures and found a one that wasn't shown here. So stay tuned

  13. The answer of this quiz is Valaint Regal CM by Chrysler Australia built from 11/1978 - 08/1981. The CM Valiant range was basically a mild facelift of the CL, but with most of the bugs ironed out. The biggest changes were to the grille, tail-lights, body mouldings and badging. Chrysler retained the fender-mounted indicator lamps, which had proven to be the most practical and style wise, attractive layout adopted by the local car maker. This was the last full-sized Chryslers marketed in Australia until the 2005 release of the Chrysler 300C. The correct answer were sent in by Bucky dw1603 GeeBee Richard Bartrop warra48 matthijsgrit Draggon ChrisR otherunicorn Pete J. Congratulations mate

  15. I'm building a Mack LT . I use the complete kit from AITM. It is nice kit withe a big problem, the rims. These 11x22.00 tire are ok but the rims seems to be not 20" rims. They are too small for a 22" rim. I have to search my parts bin to find some new rims or print them either. While watching a video on Youtube about a Mack LT 2 axle truck I saw that the battery mount looks different to the one on the frame from AITM. So I made quick 3d model and start prininting. There are a few other things on the frame to improve but these are not that important.
  16. I would like to enter BRBO 2021 as well with a MACK LT from AITM

  21. This one is a 1961 Cadillac Jacqueline by Pininfarina. This car debuted at Paris Salon in 1961 and it was named after First Lady Jacqueline Kenndy. The only stock Cadillac itemes thta were unchaged were the 1960 rims, dashboard andthe steering wheel. The Jacqueline wore a traditional Cadillac crest on its hood, minus one element: the broad vee that had come to stand for the division's trademark V-8 engines. Because it was a pushcar without engine. In 1996 a 1960 Cadillac Eldorada Biaritz spent its engine to make Jacquline now a running car. Picture were taken at the 2012 Schloss Dyck Classic. Correct answer were sent in by Richard Bartrop dw1603 jokar 124 otherunicorn Brizio Congratulations

  23. This time I was looking for an Italian car a 1964-1970 Autobianchi Primula. The Primula was a prototype for Fiat's rack and pinion steering and is widely known for its innovative Dante Giacosa-designed front-wheel drive, transverse engine layout — that would be later popularized by the Fiat 128 to ultimately become an industry-standard front drive layout. The correct answer were sent in by GeeBee DonW TimJ otherunicorn dw1603 matthijsgrit Congratulations
