  1. Well finely done the Olds Starfire even added some bumps and bruises .So have a look.

Well after farting around with many paint removal products and using good old faithful remover I did notice some residue .So I put the model parts to soak in dish wash soap as I always do and that didn't work so I use Simple Green as a soaking bath.I found that stuff to work awesome even for cleaning residue off resin parts .Well hope that helps someone.

Hi guys well I finely went and bought some of this stuff and I to found it to be very expensive.I didn't find it to be all that great but some stuff for paint and chrome removal works for different people.So I went back to good old brake fluid to strip paint and good old bleach to strip chrome.Just adding my two cents.
  4. I think AMC vehicles were all bad with the countless engine issues.Something to keep in mind are the makes that are still around today.
  5. Just wondering if Simple Green makes a good model paint remover ? I checked the price of super clean a gallon and well 3.87 L and it was 21 bucks kind of expensive I thought any other ideas on cost effective paint remover? I know this topic could of been posted already but what the hey.

  8. Hi there I have tried the method fatkidd uses and its works great.Besides its cheaper too than buying special wrinkle paint.

  16. Hey Big, that is a great spray booth. I have a solution to your lighting if you use 2- 16 inch long flourescent tube lights that would give you plenty of lighting.Hope that helps.
  17. This 37 rat rod started out as a sedan but I turned it into a coupe a easy mod I thought.Its based on a real life rusty ride.
  18. Yet another Ford this build is going to be a 1 ton flat deck and based on a real truck in my area.Adding more pictures in the near future.
  19. Well I decided to turn this Ford into a 2.5 ton COE its also based on a real truck .It still needs lots of work but I'll post more pics soon.
  20. Hi everyone well here I got a rusty mustang is need of a serious restoration.Its still on the bench and adding more detail.Its going to be something you would find in a old abandoned garage.

Hi there I see your looking for a good source of body filler well try using Napa brand 2 part body putty and the number for that is 906110.Its a light weight polyester finishing and spot putty.I use this stuff all the time sands easy sticks to bare plastic and primered.Also don't shrink either well hope that helps you some.
  22. Hi guys well all of you have some great ideas and the building burn out only lasted a couple days.Since a friend of mine request I build him a garage diorama well that kicked me back in gear. So this should be rather interesting.

  24. Hi sak , I have a solution for you with the twin syringe epoxy just cut the syringes apart .So then you may squeeze each syringes one at a time . I do this and works awesome.
