Just thought I would post a picture of what I'm kinda trying to build ... I'm sure it is kinda hard to visualize if you are not familiar with the type of car Steve B.

I live in Niles Michigan ... Work in South Bend Indiana ... I think it's a great place ... Actually thinking about moving to South Bend / Mishawaka area ... Steve B.

This is a newly started project ... It's a modified race car ... Started out with a scrap body I got in a bunch of kits I got from a member over on Fred's forum ... Cut the bottom off of it ... Removed the door pillars and opened up the side and rear windows ... Jim at Micro Nitro is machining some great "WIDE 5's" for me as we speek ... Can't wait to get those ... Hope to get a lot done on this over the weekend ... Thinking of this being my first real contest model entry ... Heres the first mock-up photo. Just about finished up ... Still got the roll cage and engine to finish up ... Not sure there are any members that are interested in this type of modeling projects ... Just thought I'd show you all. Any comments or criticisms are always welcome

Got a few things today . (13) Model King Pinto Modified kits. (11) Model King Vega Modified kits (1) 65' Mustang Modified kit. (1)?35' Chevy Modified kit. (1) 71' Plymouth GTX kit (24) Jars of Tamiya paints in various colors (1) New compressor for my air brush Hopefully that will keep me busy for awhile. SCB

Got a few new kits and a new compressor ... Got the compressor ... NIB for $40 total at a local swap meet ... Even cam with the moisture trap and air pressure regulator ... I have a real quick question ... I bought 50 bottles of this paint Has any one used this type of paint ? What do you thin it with to spray through an air brush ? Is it good paint ? Got it really cheap at a swap meet ... Paid fifty cents a piece all bottles are sealed and new . Is it a good deal ? I'm just now trying my hand at air brushing so any help would be great Thanks Steve B.

Sorry about first post ... I just recived this kit ... Anyone who loves planes and WW1 air craft should check out this company ... I was amazed at the options it has and the detailed instructions are second to none Decals are great giving at least 6 build options Check them out ... I think the "definition" of a diorama is a model that is telling or suggesting a story or an event in time ... Now if it was a 69' camaro with the base and a figure looking under the car or hood and the engine was blown out of the bottom of it ... That would be a diorama ... That is only my opinion ... So don't just go by that ... Others may disagree Steve B.

Great looking custom so far ... What kit did you take the rims and tires from ... They look pretty cool ! ... Love steelies with white walls ... Keep up the great work ...

My favorite is 72' Plymouth Satellite ... Only because it was my very first car 318 mild cam , 727 transmission ... It was a great car Sold it and got a 74 Ford Mustang ... Big mistake ... Lol ! Either way I had fun in both cars ... I'd really like to get another 72'

Was at the same show ... Our first year ! Definantly a lot of great cars and some motivation to get to the bench and build . We've already made our reservations for next year to stay right downtown at a great B&B .... Might be taking the "T" bucket ... If its completed . Would recamend it to anyone in the area for sure !

I am a Journeyman Mold maker / Tool maker / Gage maker / Engineer .... Aerospace , Automotive , Medical fields. I collect Gerstner Tool Boxes , I have approx. 10 or 12 in various condition .... some need to be restored. The ones in the picture are my new ones. Great for tools and stuff .... they have felt lined drawers too ... Ive not got too much started hopefully the long weekend will help ... Need to order more parts. Been working on my 41' Willys mostly ... check that out ... pretty cool I think.

Got some primer on the truck.... Not happy with it being pink ... we will fix that though. Made a new bed cover to replace the old tuck and roll cover ... Made it out of a sprint car wing I had laying around. Got a Franklin rear end and Nitrous bottle to go with the build today also.
