  1. I went to the link that Porky provided.....My math is perfectly correct and the "scale calculator" backs up my statement!! I also don't like misinformation either Hunter, Which, If there was any question in the back of my mind on my being wrong...I wouldn't have offered any assistance in the first place. I appreciate you calling me out on this as It shows that you also care what happens on this and other forums!! Roy
  2. This is a very cooooolllllll wrecker Doug!!! Roy

  5. Super nice detail work on thissun' Rick!!! Any updates?? Roy
  6. 1/16th scale is simple 1''= 16 scale inches, So,1/16'' on your ruler equals 1 scale inch in 1/16th scale or 3/4'' on your ruler equals 1' in 1/16th scale...This rule applies the same across the board for all scales for another example...1/24th scale is 1''=24 scale inches and so on. Always sit down and do the "math" before you start building and double check your work!!! I hope this helps clear things up a bit!! Roy
  7. Lookin' real good so far Justin!!! Keep it comin' along!!! Roy

  14. Hey Frank!! I hope to have it completed by mid October, To be ready for the NNL Southern Nationals in early November... Thanks Roy
  15. Actually the rivets job was only about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. I should have trimmed the decal film a little closer though, But, I'm not gonna sweat it ...It still looks pretty good to me. Roy
  16. This truck is a learning curve project...I learned that the closer you trim the decal film to the rivets, The more realistic they will look!! The rivets show thru fine in the paint, but the excess decal film, If not trimmed very close can be seen!! But on big rigs, overlaps in the skin are not smooth or perfect where rivets are used. I will post a few pics of the cab with paint on it so you can see the rivets... Roy
  17. Looks good to me Justin!!! Keep us posted!!! Roy

  19. Another update...Rivets, rivets, rivets everywhere!!! The cab is finally starting to look right!! Thanks for following along !!!
