  1. I "Rolled the dice" and used Easy-off in the yellow can....And, It worked perfectly!!! No damage whatsoever to the resin. It only took 35 minutes total (2 applications) and the cab was cleaned of all the paint. I was holding my breath during the first application and about 75% of the paint came right off. Then the second application finished the job.And I rinsed the cab in warm soapy water and dried it off....Done!! I couldn't be happier with the results!! Thanks to everyone that offered their assistance!! Roy
  2. LOL!!! Then I would have to clean up after him!! Seriously, I haven't committed to the Bj and the Bear paint scheme yet, Because I already have a very nice 1/25th scale Bj truck and trailer. And a 1/16th scale 40' trailer is a big "IF"...'cause I ain't got one!! Time will tell!! Roy

  6. In scale, the K-123 is about 12'' too short...I have built both AMT and Revell K-100's and both have good points and bad points...AMT cab is easier to work with and the fit issues on the frame leave a little bit to be desired,And the Revell cab is very fragile and prone to warp and break very easily, But the complete chassis is far superior to the AMT counterpart...The KW in my Avatar is a Revell unit(I used several cusswords when the cab was being assembled) And it turned out pretty well...I think!!! LOL !!! Roy
  7. How do you strip paint and adhesives off of resin bodies without destroying the resin itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've never had to do it before...And, Resin is Expensive!!! LOL!!! Thanks in advance!!! Roy
