1976 Chevrolet Titan/90
Missing in Action replied to Jim B's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Super nice Titan Jim!!! Excellent build!!! -
Hey Phil !! I used the AMT MOVIN' ON kit and stretched it 2'' and added a ROG 60'' W-900 sleeper, added Revell Snap-tite battery boxes. ROG rims and Italeri tires....And several trips to the parts box!! LOL!! And the ROG W-900's are more wrong than right for this build...The hood is too long, the frame is too flemsy and weak looking and all around more fragile and the plastic is easily distorted with some different adhesives...So, go easy on the glue!! Good luck with your build!! Post pics when you get going on it too!!

BIRMINGHAM CLASSIC SHOW PICTURES
Missing in Action replied to Dr. Cranky's topic in Contests and Shows
Hey Doc,You did some beautiful model subjects!! You should have stayed...If I heard correctly, You won a Top 15 award!! If so,Congratulations!! -
A friend saw my Movin'on W-900... I said I would build one from his kit for hin with modest detail "Curbside" shelf model. He wanted it to look very close to mine with a couple of differences...No headache rack and no air ride and use the AMT Kit wheels and tires and hendricksen "walking beam" rear suspension...Yeah, I'm doing this as it is a paying job...So heres some in progress pics... Thanks for following along

Revell of Germany Aerodyne
Missing in Action replied to XTrucker's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Hey Bill,I have built the K-100 Aerodynes and can see where you're coming from...I had 2 minor design problems that I didn't care for...Seperate roof(slight warping) and the fit of the windshields.A little patience went a long way as in these pics... I hope this helps... -
I'm not....Just Sayin'.....

Hey Mike, I didn't buy one,But I have been through several at shows and have friends who made the "Mistake" of buying them...As I stated earlier in this thread...I wouldn't have one if it was FREE!!! My building skills are not in question here, However my skills are too good to waste on the Lonestar !! Maybe someday when Moebius "Fixes" the shortcomings of this overpriced, under developed kit...I would buy one!! Until then...I'm not throwing My money away!!! Just Sayin'....
