  1. Super nice Titan Jim!!! Excellent build!!!
  2. Nice twist on Bj McKay's truck!!! Definitely fix the rears!!
  3. Hey Phil !! I used the AMT MOVIN' ON kit and stretched it 2'' and added a ROG 60'' W-900 sleeper, added Revell Snap-tite battery boxes. ROG rims and Italeri tires....And several trips to the parts box!! LOL!! And the ROG W-900's are more wrong than right for this build...The hood is too long, the frame is too flemsy and weak looking and all around more fragile and the plastic is easily distorted with some different adhesives...So, go easy on the glue!! Good luck with your build!! Post pics when you get going on it too!!
  4. Here's some update pics, It's coming along pretty dang good...So far everything is working well... Thanks for followin' along and All the great comments too!!!
  5. Hey Doc,You did some beautiful model subjects!! You should have stayed...If I heard correctly, You won a Top 15 award!! If so,Congratulations!!
  6. Hey Mike!! I stretched the frame 2'' ,My truck is painted with Testors Mystic Emerald #1845...Thanks!!
  7. A friend saw my Movin'on W-900... I said I would build one from his kit for hin with modest detail "Curbside" shelf model. He wanted it to look very close to mine with a couple of differences...No headache rack and no air ride and use the AMT Kit wheels and tires and hendricksen "walking beam" rear suspension...Yeah, I'm doing this as it is a paying job...So heres some in progress pics... Thanks for following along
  8. Hey Everyone!! As promised,Heres a few more progress pics...I had to prime the cab so I could see what I need to get right in the bodywork and detail work. I actually think its going to turn out very well!!! Thanks for followin' along!!
  9. Hey Bill,I have built the K-100 Aerodynes and can see where you're coming from...I had 2 minor design problems that I didn't care for...Seperate roof(slight warping) and the fit of the windshields.A little patience went a long way as in these pics... I hope this helps...
  10. Yeah it's scratchbuilt and the wheels are ROG trailer with AMT 10.00x 20's 1/25 scale...Thanks
  11. The AERODYNE roof went into the parts box and a ROG KW W-900 roof was added with slight modification, I swapped the CAT 3406 out for a Cummins V-903 V-8...Just to be different, The real truck has a Cummins 444 in it.
  12. You are correct Tim!! I forgot to put in that this is going to be a custom 1 of a kind truck. Thanks for helping with clearing things up !!!
  13. A 1/16 PETE 352H "Doublebunk" is in the near future!! And a scratchbuilt Detroit Buzzin' Dozen......
  14. Hey everyone!! Just some update pics on the progress.Exhaust gantry and air intake plumbing... Thanks for following along!!
  15. You get 2 sheets per order not 1!! It's a pretty good deal too...
  16. Heres an update, The rivet decals from Micro-Mark came in the other day and did some more work to the grille and exhaust. So heres some pics... The rivet decals idea came from Robert Nagle...Thanks Robert!!!
  17. I'm not....Just Sayin'.....
  18. Hey Mike, I didn't buy one,But I have been through several at shows and have friends who made the "Mistake" of buying them...As I stated earlier in this thread...I wouldn't have one if it was FREE!!! My building skills are not in question here, However my skills are too good to waste on the Lonestar !! Maybe someday when Moebius "Fixes" the shortcomings of this overpriced, under developed kit...I would buy one!! Until then...I'm not throwing My money away!!! Just Sayin'....
