Hi Folks, Would like to build a Ford GT40 in 1/24th. Seems to a wide selection on ebay. Any recomendations? Do the different brands all have engines or are some curbside? Thanks in advance for any help! Randy

Thank you Brad ! Cobra Joe, Thanks! Thanks Jim! Appreciate it Derick! Ed, that's funny!!!! Hi Zac, Gotta have those tiny bits, they actually work well. Hi Greg, I too like the style of those rims. I'm trying to make some up from brass and copper. Hi Joe, Drill Bit City... These are the best bits I've found so far. I think the set of 25 bits was about $ 20.00 Pricey but if you need small holes you don't have much choice. Hi Bill, Thank you my friend! I know what you mean , they are fragile. I will say these bits from D.B.City seem to last longer. They are extremely sharp and cut thru cast brass easy. because of how well they cut I think I use less force therefore less breakage? I did say less not any at all Hi John, You are too kind , just trying to keep up with you Thank you Mike! Hi Samuel, Thank you! Hi Rich, Glad you like it! Hi Pete, Got your pm, great looking stuff!! Really nice turnings! Hi Chris, Thank you! Thanks Chuck, Always enjoy seeing what you are working on! Hi Niko, Thanks buddy! Tom, thank you! Gotta build a trailer to towlike yours! Hi Danno, Thank you my friend Randy

Hi Jim, One of the unpleasant things about posting your work on these forums is having to waste modelling time when dealing with somebody like that. So for the many peolple who are enjoying your build, carry on Randy -
Hi Folks, My thanks to all of who took the time to comment on this last update. I read them several times during my sloooow progress on this build. I have to thank one poster in particular, Fastback340 Your support keeps me going John, thanks my friend!! A bit of progress on the engine compartment, made up a throtle linkage to conect up with the gas pedal, some flex tubing for the brake lines at the master clyinder, hooked up the heater hoses. Also put this one up on wheels for the first time in a year These are not the final product, but they are the right size and will allow me to check the stance and figure out exhaust pipe clearence.... am using some HO scale turnbuckle castings to make some clevis ...
