  3. David nice score! Nice Resto work too. Both Monogram kits I believe. Red Chariot 32 Sport Coupe Like Alan said the coupe is indeed rare. I hope I’m not geeking out here, but it happens that I was looking for this kit at one point in time and I did a little research on it. I believe it was made in 1958 and that the molds were destroyed shortly thereafter, so that baby isn’t gonna come back! If I’m not mistaken it’s actually closer to 1/22 scale then 1/24. At least that’s the way it appeared to me when I had my grimy little digits on one in Detroit. It was unbuilt and mint in the box. The seller wanted like $300 but offered it to me for $250. I passed because I was really just hoping to come by a builtup that I could restore/modify. The unbuilt one was too nice in other words! My desire for one has diminished because I have a zillion other model projects. If someday I find a builtup one price I may pick it up. In the meanwhile though I’m glad to look at yours because you’ve done a nice job putting it back together. It looks like you got a bunch of nice cars in that lot. Enjoy and happy building!
  4. R&R Vacuum Craft cast a Manhattan many years back. I wish I had one because if I did, I would send it your way in the hopes that you would do something like this with it. There have been several 1:1 Manhattan sleds done and I personally love them. Your Henry J gives me the same vibe though. I love all your models. You are great with styrene and resin.
  5. Glen, they both look fantastic! I’ve seen chopped Henry J s done as drag or pro Street cars and they look nice even with the short wheelbase when done as a drag car, However I never thought one could make a nice lead sled because of the short proportions. However, you cracked the code by lengthening it. Excellent work! -Mark
  6. Really nice workmanship on the bodywork and firewall! Keep up the great scratch building. You are on your way to being a force to be reckoned with! Very accurate depiction of Finnegan’s car. -Mark
  7. Thanks for posting Scott! -Mark
  8. No problem Greg. I uploaded those photos and then I thought I hope that wasn’t too much! If so, I apologize. What I should’ve done is look at your pictures and just posted photos of the models that you weren’t able to shoot. Indeed it was a very nice show. I took a friend of mine and it was his first show and contest. He ate it up. We hooked another one!
  9. Bob that is wild! Thanks for posting. -Mark
  10. Jim I missed you in Hermitage yesterday. I sold my friend who went with me to the show this kit yesterday morning. Your build makes me wish I had kept it!- Mark
