  1. My buddy Tom Kren did the Slate Blue and Orange street rods.
  2. Next is larger scales 1/20 and bigger. Red cartooned Cheetah by my buddy Gary Kulchock.
  3. Here you go friends…. some very non-professional photos I took at a show yesterday. I entered nothing and I’m sorry to say that the entry forms did not have the builders names. I will include names with the pictures where I know for a fact who built the models. Anyhow, the vending was stellar. Lots of military and aircraft kits for sale. I scored a couple of model car items are including a Mobius 64 Comet which I have yet to open. Anyhow, enough chitchat… Enjoy the pictures and hopefully gain some inspiration for that next project. Happy modeling! – Mark. First up Motorcycles
  4. Angel they look like clean builds! I do like them and your skills are impressive these days as evidenced by your wicked dragster! -Mark
  5. C.M., I’m sorry about your furry family member. This is a wonderful tribute and a fantastic build. -Mark
  6. Bad to the bone Ron! -Mark
  7. Wow John! Gorgeous. -Mark
  8. Nicely done as always, George and if I’m not mistaken, Rick is a model builder. Or at least he was in his teenage years before he built 1:1 scale cars. I hope he still builds models too. Have you by any chance showed this to him? I’m sure he’ would flip out. Heck, he’d probably offer to buy it! i would if I was him! One time when I had a collection of my photos on Fotki I shared a photo of a model builders replica of Wally‘s first Daytona built in the late 80s and Wally wrote me and asked me if I built it. I didn’t have a picture of the builders name so I wasn’t able to put him in touch with the builder, but I did tell him that I did not build it. Anyhow, if Wally has not seen your replica of his current car I know he would love it.
  9. George another amazing replica! You are a force to be reckoned with. Nice work. -Mark
  10. Glen fantastic build!- Mark
  11. Pat, those are mega burly! -Mark
  12. Harrison I think I have the JPS instructions. If so I can send you photos in a PM on this site or give me a few days I can copy them at the local library and send that your way. I’ll check to make sure I have them. -Mark
  13. Mike, that paint!!! Stunning build. Want me to look for a door handle? I may have one. -Mark
  14. Michelle this is so cool! And I love the music in your videos. -Mark
  15. John it’s been on my project list as well since I saw the 1:1 in Detroit years back. After seeing George’s though I’m thinking why bother! lol Mine would never be this accurate. I may do a wild C cab but a different style. George this is an insanely well done model. And the brass parts….well now you’re just showing off! Great work and I can’t wait to see more from your workbench. -Mark
  16. Congrats on the success in the tournament! Well earned with your stellar build. To notch work. -Mark
  17. Jon I’m just echoing what our friends already said but your work is well planned and well executed. One of the best chops I’ve ever seen on a model. -Mark
  18. Johnny good luck with your surgery and your model looks fabulous! -Mark
  19. Last thing. When you were boring the hole with the blade I bet it caught in the plastic windshield and cracked it with the torque that this method can induce. I hope I don’t come across as a know-it-all because I certainly am not, However I too have cracked some pieces with the X Acto drilling so here’s the way I solved it… very small drillbit ideally in a handheld pin vice. Just a suggestion. I guarantee you aren’t the first to break the windscreen using MPC’s method and again, I have cracked some pieces mentioned pieces doing this!
  20. Right on Terry! Scott I was going to check for you but I’m pretty sure if I do in fact have an extra that it has glue on it. I’m glad Terry took care of you ibecause your project looks fantastic. Nice color.
  21. Earl zoom in on this. When I do I see Tilton Starter, Good Year, and black Koni stickers by the frint wheel arches. On the door I make out Camel and BBS stickers. Just in front of rear wheel of arch I see another Koni decal featuring a shock absorber. Also Snap On. About one of the aftermarket decal companies has a sheet with most of these on there. Otherwise you can probably find the.Tilton in ARevell pro stock kit i’m drawing a blank on which one. I believe it to be the Larry Morgan purple car. Koni with the shock absorber used to be prevalent in old kits. I believe many AMT kits came with that decal on the sheet particularly in the 3in1 kits featuring a drag race version. If you’re interested, I can check my little decal stash. I think I have a few of the sponsors you would need for this car. I would send them your way ibut I must warn you some of the decals are old. I’m not sure how well they will work.
