  1. Cool build Anthony. I just received the same body from Ted’s last week. Scott Popham mastered it. Was the under hood tin photoetch tricky to do? I got the tinwork piece too and I know I need to bend it carefully. -Mark
  2. L. S. That paint still looks wet! Fantastic finish and I like the Larry Flint “literature” and 420 goodies. P. C. gets tiresome! Really fun build. -Mark
  3. Man Anthony you’re killing it!
  4. Well done Anthony. I like the nice streetable carbs. I always put overkill Dominators on my Pro Streeters. Cool stance too.

    Sand Shark parts

Zen here is Curt’s post from this very site curt raitz Posted December 1, 2020 I currently sell them on ebay (search TruWire wheels) and thru Ted's Modeling Marketplace.https://www.tedsmodelingmarketplace.com I have 4 sizes, 3 in 1/25th with .710", .074" and .079" OD. and one in 1/16th with a 1.10" OD. They come with O-Ring tires, but are designed to use the tires in the kit. The slot Car guys like the O-Rings. Bernards photo is of one of the first I made...I've gotten much better. My only guarantee is that they are much better than the "kit-supplied" wheels. check'em out...

    Sand Shark parts

Zenon These kits may be a bit easier to come by. I’m not sure the tea buckets have the exact same center caps as those front wheels in the sand shark but they are very close and I’m almost positive. They’re the same tires. I’m sorry I don’t have a set of the tires to help you. Mr Spencer is right those 2 kits have the identical tires and wheels for sure. You could always try Curt Raitz on this forum. He has some amazing spoke.”bicycle” dragster wheels and tires but they are machine aluminum rings and photo edge spokes. They take a little bit of work to put together, but they are absolutely stunning when they’re finished. Just a couple ideas. I’ll keep my eyes peeled and see if any of my friends have a set of what you’re looking for laying around.
  7. Mike your wife did nice work on those! Nice Patterson and Grafting collections too. Looking forward to seeing the 71 Mopar finished. I’ve only spent one hour my workbench the last month. That needs to change! But yeah that’s a heck of a collection. She’s got there. I love the Eiffel Tower and Parrot! -Mark
  8. Die farben sind sehr schon. Deutschland! Very nice build Ville. I love it- Mark
  9. Right on Mike! And yeah Jim is a stand up guy for making you that offer. That’s somebody I would gladly buy from.
  10. Bill, do you know how to make an entrance! Welcome to the forum, my friend. Wow all I could say is wow those look beyond fantastic! You definitely have given them the 60s and 70s vintage flavor. The candy blue fuel cell in the Schartman car is a beautiful contrast to the yellow. Nice and flashy!
  11. Anthony, I love it! Thanks for the cool tip about the T-shirt material too. Yeah that’s a heck of a great looking Day 2 style car. And the 6bbl engine is a nice change from a Hemi. I’m guilty of cramming Hemis in almost all of my Mopar builds but I will have to finish my 340 6pack T/A Challenger now! Great jab again brother
  12. Lee, as far as I know the Potvin crank driven blower is from a Lindberg kit….the Exterminator Dragster. I’m not saying it was never offered in a parts pack. I’m not arguing that point but as far as I know it can be found in that kit. The kit shows a dragster with twin engines and they have the typical Roots belt drive superchargers up on top of the manifold. But as far as I know somebody on this very forum mention that the kit contains extra parts, including the front mount superchargers in the kit. I hope this helps.
  13. Lee, thank you for posting these wonderful pictures. I have long wanted that Protar BMW 500 motorcycle kit with the side car, but the ones I have found online are quite expensive to say nothing of the fact that if I built one, it wouldn’t come out anywhere near as nice as this! This is the first time I’ve seen one finished. And again, thanks for posting the nice photos my friend. -Mark
  14. Steven, perfection….period! -Mark
  15. No David. I don’t have any pictures of it posted yet. I will try to get some up soon. I basically have just painted the inside or the fuselage painted with my own mixed zinc chromate. Mine is gonna be pretty tame compared to yours. I think I’m just going to leave it mostly black. I mainly built cars so the planes are just a little out of my comfort zone. I think I’m gonna keep this build relatively simple, but I will still post pictures on it. Like I say it’s pretty tame compared to yours. But yours is giving me tons of inspiration! I’ll let you know when I get some pictures up.
  16. David this is phenomenal! Glad to see it done. I’ve got to finish mine. Great job brother.- Mark
  17. Wow Joe! You managed to enhance the burliness as well as making it even classier. No mean feat. Great job my friend . - Mark
  18. I like it Steve. I’m sorry about your friend. I restified a 63 Vette that came to me from a late friend. It’s a nice way to honor our lost friends I think. Also your buddy had done some nice blending of the flairs and the paint scheme and interior appealed to me. It definitely looked more 80s era and your version is very current looking…..just the way many 1:1 vehicles and bikes etc. get updated. That’s cool. I’ll be watching this one. -Mark

    4 in '24....

Dan those are some serious eye candy! You know I cannot count how many times I’ve seen that 66 Nova Pro Street kit built. And well most of the ones I’ve seen built. I have definitely appreciated because I love nova’s and I love pro Street. See my avatar lol. But it takes one with a very special look or a very clean build to really jump out at me and yours manages to do that. I’m not sure if it’s the shade of paint or the wheels but there’s something about your nova that just stands out from the rest. Good job and happy new year brother . -Mark.
  20. David, I see more details the longer I look. This build would be amazing if your arthritis and numb fingers were not an issue. The fact you did this with those obstacles makes it off the charts man! Very nice use of the diamond plate styrene too. I look forward to more of your projects! Happy new year and happy building – Mark
  21. Michael, I just got back from out of town for the holidays and I dug through my stash last night and found a hood. However, wouldn’t you know it the actual air grabber scoop is MIA. If you have use for the hood though, I can send it your way. See I have some pieces from this kit, but not the whole kit if that makes any sense. I took some of the pieces to cut down from 124 scale to 1/25 in order to restore one of my MPC 71 roadrunners. However, I did not Donate the scoop to my MPC kit so I have no idea where that is. But like I say, if you can use just the hood, I’ll get it out to you. It’s never been painted. Hope this helps. -Mark
  22. That’s awesome Tom! I’m sure your friend is very happy with the project you built for his engine and I hope you guys get to build together someday . -Mark
  23. Well done Matt! Gorgeous builds.
  24. Steve they are all fantastic but the gull wing doors on the Vette took a lot of work, The bodywork on your Vette alone would have taken me the whole year!
  25. Stuart they are all beautiful!
