  1. Ferby this is beautiful, . Excellent work, brother.
  2. Ryan this is awesome! What a build.
  3. Holy Smokes Glen! You have nailed an old school custom look in my opinion. I say that because it reminds me of some builds from the 60s. I got a few model car magazines from 64-72 last year from my late friend’s collection. To me some of the custom trucks from those pages have the same look. If this is what you were going for mission accomplished! Regardless of your inspiration for the build I absolutely love it. The chop is beautiful and I like the fenders extending beyond the tailgate. Never would have thought of that but you got my rusty gears turning with this. Cheers-Mark

    Slambulance

Anthony, like David said you did some very clever and well executed work on this. The frosted glass immediately brought to my mind Jeff Spiccoli and his friends “getting ready for class” in Fast Times at Ridgemont! Your surfboards are sharp. Cheers, Mark
  5. Rex, they all look great but I keep coming back to the black Pantera and the patriotic 71-73 Mustang with the monster scoop. It looks like a straight line beast! Like Dan said safe travels during your relocation.

Wow this is a clean build Tom! Nice work.
  7. Chuck this is amazing! The car, garage and photography are first class. It all looks 1:1.
  8. Very nice James! Happy 4th weekend to you and your family. Hope to see you soon.
  9. Rickard this is amazing! Very nice build.
  10. Nathan, I read the Stephen King book when it came out in ‘83. Then my dad and I saw the movie at the theater, might have even been opening night. Seen it many times since then because I too loved it. Long story longer….my mom and I went to a local library book sale last year and I bought the audiobook on cd for like 25 cents! I finally decided to revisit Stephen King’s novel by listening to my copy on cd. I’m almost finished and I had forgotten how many parts of the movie differed from the book. The movie actually made for a tidier storyline in some regards. Anyhow here is the main thing I had forgotten about the book……in the story Christine was a 4 door!! But you know what’s funny….while listening to the scenes involving the car in my mind’s eye I definitely always see that 2 door from the movie!!
  11. Agreed…very nice black wash treatment.
  12. Like Michelle said this was a great idea! I have pieced a couple broken models back together but they were not as broken as your Corvette. And you definitely nailed the Roadkill style.
  13. Wow that is a screaming Mopar! The vinyl top looks very realistic too. It’s so cool that you and your father build models together .
  14. Very nice work Nathan! My first model didn’t look anywhere near as nice.
  15. It’s looking fantastic Roger. I agree with Scott. You nailed the stance. Billy’s car was really low in the front. Lots of cool cars and racers out of Dayton, Ohio but Billy was always one of my faves.
  16. Bill I just sent you a PM. Check your mailbox on here. Cheers
  17. That is a nice build Adam! Some of MPC’s offerings left a bit to be desired. I had trouble getting the Sunshine fender flares to fit and abandoned it. But later I got a built up from my friend who had put some effort into getting the flares on with putty and smooth bodywork. Anyhow I love what you did with yours.
  18. I’m sure Snake would approve! Very nice Al.
  19. Very nice work, Michelle! That is one mean looking mustang.
  20. This isn’t perfect but it may be a starting point. Iceman Collections Ival Cold Air Intake set of 3. Hope this helps Vi.
  21. This is really nice Paul.
  22. Marcus blessings to your mom for building with you! She gave us a heck of a talented builder. Nice work Brother.
  23. Joe these are fantastic! Nice weathering.
