today i recieved a collectorsitem here in holland a daf coe resincab its a truck that was came out in 1967 the donorkit wil be a italeri ore revell daf scale 1:24 picture,s and 6 monogramkits from us cars [ for a transporter ore just to build ] lovely car,s , i know its not a truck but...

last week i have put the color on , sunshine , good temp , no wind so after tape paint the cab for me its looks nice , and i am glad that the tape make no trouble thats for now jacobus

some months ago [ almost 1,5 year ] i have buy a box for 15 euro was already start with the cab and chassis sleepercab was not to save , the cabsroof was very bad so i have give him a high roof that i buy from f.s.models [ the are out of bussines , very sad ] and a backpanel from them and now see how its looks chassis wasnt not so bad i think with a dumptrailer it wil look nice but first sanding and make new window,s etc jacobus

thanks guy,s the mechanics are checkin now the toplights and the wheels [ its a chaos ] and the have put some tape on it before the paintjob can start now first wait for a higher temp and warmer sunshine jacobus

the cab has his white coat and i made also a teststrip for this paint wil look off the other paint make a reaction on the white paint , if its good than i make a paintscheem with a mettalic red ore stripes and now waiting for the wheels to put on the chassis jacobus

testfit for the position of the cab has his first paint and iff the wheater getting better i do a second white and than a green with white combo also a shot with a 20ft container chassis [ must do the wheels and brake,s boosters ] without the fueltanks with the fueltanks and testfit chassis also make the batterybox thats it for now jacobus

thanks robert for the picture,s have several fueltanks and still don,t know wich one i wil used for the ford wil put it like your first pic but firdt take away the chrome off the tanks, and i use the newway airride from auslowe becouse all of italeri white,s and freightliner have the same suspension , i believe also the superliner and the ford have them have already make the tanksupport and come on the place like the picture,s jacobus
