  1. Thanks Richard, I was beginning to wonder if anyone could see this besides me. This was one of the hardest posts I have ever made. You will see more, stay tuned.
  2. Thanks for being patient. ( Why do I feel like I'm talking to myself?)My little man is happy. Thanks for looking.
  3. Posting problems still, hold on.
  4. I am not allowed? What is this? Two hours wasted!!! I will try again later to post more pictures. ??????? Trouble, Sorry.
  5. Entire build thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=72726&hl= I am currently haveing trouble posting more pictures from Photobucket, will try later. I have wasted over 1 1/2 hours here.
  6. Finished today, my first attempt at a Funnycar. Fun build I started last March and put it hold for a while. I wanted more detail but, got distracted doing research on it and desided finally to just finish it up before the end of 2013. Maybe the next one will get a little more detail, I don't know. Enjoy and Happy Holiday.
  7. Thanks guys. This was almost like bringing one back from the dead. I am calling it finished today after this photo shoot and moving it to the dragracing section. Never did that before! After viewing my photos I realise I forgot to put the white on Goodyear letters. I lost the rest of the decal sheet and I wanted to put a parachute cord on it. Really I don't no how to do a realistic one or fuel lines etc. Obviously not a show piece, it was fun, and my first attempt at a funnycar. Thanks for looking.
  8. Just got this one out today for an attempt to finish it this year. Installed window glass so far. Some more small details and hopefully it will be done. Wish me luck! Trying to get my photos ready for the end of the year showing like we did last year. Hope you guys are ready!
  9. Thanks for the encouragement guys, hopefully this will be the fix I needed. I really would like to finish one of two more forgotten projects before the end of the year. You will see them here first if I do, thanks again.
  10. I say just settle for being Mr. what ever her name is. Sounds like you married into the money. Put your pride aside and be happy. More model time, just be prepared to have her dinner ready when she gets home. Wait....I'm describing my life.....nevermind.
  11. Thanks Carl, this is the worst slump I have been in since I got back into modeling a few year ago. Hope this gets me going again and puts the fun back into it.
  12. More pictures.
  13. Finished tonight finally.. Started this one in Sept. while on vacation in South Carolina. It was put back in the box unfinished when I ran out of time. Also the last time I touched a model since, it became a constant reminder to me about how long my slump away from the bench has been. Goal became to finish it by the end of the year so here it is. Constantly comparing it to my old AMT '62, I decided to include it in the photo shoot along with a couple Matchbox cars. Hope you like.
  14. That has to be the old AMT kit, I think it looks good with the extra details that I always leave off like antenna and mirrors. Nice job on the foil. I still love the simpleness of the old AMT kits for a quick build. I'm currently working on the '62 Revell Corvette and am constantly comparing it to my AMT version. Nice work Jim, it looks good!
  15. Nice, loveing these last few!!!! Nice photos guys

    Duece Vicki

Very cool Brian! The Manx is sweet also, nicest up to date looking version I have ever seen. I also like traditional but, this is sweet!
  17. Never have seen anything like it, very different and unique and I like it.

Very nice! If that started as an old AMT kit I am in awe of you. Love everthing about it. Front view of the one headlight would be cool, kind of reminds me of Ed Roth's "Mysterian". The colors look ljke vintage Harley Davidson. Love the artillary wheels.
  19. I'll be watching, like the work so far.
  20. Yeah, you saw the thread, thanks for remembering.
  21. Very creative work Steve. I like the drawing.
  22. A couple of nice deuces, congrats on the cover.
  23. I agree with Harry about the modern building. Here's another one I lke that was meant to be a mystery shot for a friend of mine. The thing that ruines it is the seam on the car cover. (Glasses cloth) Still an idea someone might wan to try.
