  1. I never finished mine either, good to see this back. Lets see I need to make a fuel cell and I seriously don't remember what else. Maybe I can find an old picture as the ones on here mostly disappeared. Oh yeah! The Madman is Back! http://s1181.photobucket.com/user/rmvw/library/MADMAN%20%2055?sort=3&start=0&page=2
  2. You blow me away with all your builds. I love it, nice job.
  3. I like your version. I'm a big fan of drag cars from this period. This reminds me of the way I built all my models as a young man, as drag cars Very inspireing, thanks for sharing.
  4. Welcome back to the hobby you love and the place you like to share it. Looking forward to seeing your latest.
  5. Sweet looking pickup! It looks very expensive if it was 1:1 scale. I think you may have the rear fenders on backward. lol It took me a while to figure that one out.Nice custom touch, it works. Lots of tricks on this one and looks good in black.
  6. I have enough already but, can't pass up 40% off at Hobby Lobby if they have anything new. I budjet $100 at two annual shows for as many kits, glue bombs, parts I can purchase. Trade with other modelers occationally and on a rare occation find one at a garage sale. I also have a couple of the girls looking for me at sales. Recieved a few as gifts and have purchased some at the local hobby store. I have done some trading with lhs owner for model trains and a bicycle. Now I need to quit talking about them and start building. lol
  7. Just watched your slide show and WOW!!!! Very nice! Wish I had the drive and talent to build something this nice. You are an artist for sure.Nice work.
  8. Nice job Richard as usual. Love the 50's!
  9. I like it a lot! Very period perfect for 1961 and probably would have won a few contests. You did an excellent job on this build. The AMT '32 has always been one of my favorites and one of my first builds as a kid. We did a community build project on the forum last year with AMT '32s. This one would look good over there! http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62896 Well sorry, looked back at this topic just now and appears all my pictures via Photobucket are gone. Still there are some nice '32s for your viewing.
  10. The '57 is equally awesome! Thanks for sharing that again, I somehow missed it the first time around.
  11. What scale is that? Beautiful model by the way. It looks like it could be driven by a little person. There is a scaled down '49 Mercury around here that is driven on the highway, it looks like about the same scale.
  12. Got 'em! Thanks for the tip.
  13. How about getting mail for a member of your family who has been dead for 30 years wanting them to donate? That happens a lot here and occationally mail for my Dad who has been gone over 50 years. I would like to think of something to send them.
  14. I found this the other day and made me think of you. http://vwinnovations.com/index.php?option=com_hikashop&view=product&layout=show&Itemid=140
  15. You too? I've been in kind of a slump lately. Our club desolved for one thing which was a huge part of my motivation. I'm looking on here and finding myself reading through most of the off topic posts, which probably dosen't help. Where is the insperation? I'm waiting to feel it. I think Harry is right, "There's nothing worse that forcing yourself to build a model". I hope it returnes but, in the mean time I am working on other projects around the home.
  16. I should probably stay away from these type of shows, they make me want to chop everything in the garage.
  17. Nice save and great model to add to your collection. I love these type of builds. Nice job! I would love to see what you do with the '57 Ford.
  18. Who cares what year I am happy to have another tool. VW owners have been mixing up parts since the beginning. This kit has a lot of potential and I want some. Mine in my avatar is a '70.
  19. Nice job on a classic.
  20. Nice job on all four. Not easy to do any of these. I love the liberties you took on the "Kookie Car".

    1948 Ford

Beautiful car just the right color. Nice work I love it.
  22. I don't think I have ever seen a '32 Ford I didn't like and yours is no exception. Nothing like orange paint and a Hemi to go along with it. Very cool!
  23. Nice job, I love the split window Corvettes.
  24. Nice diorama! The building looks great, wish I could see the bike closer. The stove is a nice feature, just don't get the gasoline too close. Love it!
