  1. It looks superb! There is nothing that says "Hot Rod" better than a '32 Deuce in my opinion. I love the details and the right hand drive.
  2. Another soft spot. All three are cool as is!
  3. You are a "Madman", I love it!!!!
  4. Very nice! I love it.
  5. Thank you, it was a pleasure.
  6. Nice job Carl on a very clean build, congrats.
  7. Thank you international friends for your comments! I always appreciate hearing from outside the USA.
  8. I love the pickup body idea and the 6 banger is equally awesome. Good looking pair. Also love the green wheels. Nice!!!
  9. X2 You are the best "Box Stock" builder I have ever seen, or should I say "Factory Stock", your models always look like the real thing.
  10. All of the comments were deeply appreciated, thanks.
  11. Nice job once again Marcos as usual. I agree with TooOld, nicest one I've ever seen! The engine detail is wonderful, the wash you used on it is perfect. I just purchased this kit Monday and now I have perfect reference material, thanks. Is the ride height factory stock like I believe it is? Just curious after the comment from berr13. Mine will go white with red interior to be different. Hope it turns out half as nice as yours.
  12. Just finished this one. Chopped the top, removed B pillars, used custom body parts from AMT convertible kit, styrene strips to simulate roll and pelted interior, wheels from Revell Custom Merc kit, made rear fins and used Model Masters Flaming' Orange lacquer for the body. It started out as a glue bomb with more glue than I've ever seen on one model. Hope you enjoy the pictures and please leave comments. Thanks
  13. I had been going to the local Hobby Lobby a least once a week with coupon for the last couple of years, then I started slacking off, maybe once a month or less. I received a gift card from my Daughter and ended up buying a Revell '62 Vette last week for around $16. I noticed they had some other newer kits like the Stacy David '32, the AMT "Sock it to Me" '62, and some others. Funny thing is, when I rush out to buy a new offering somewhere else I don't always build it right away anyway so, why not just wait till Hobby Lobby gets it? I still have the '50 Old's waiting to be built that I rushed out to buy as an example. Oh, and the local store here is around 14 miles away, so I try to plan it with other shopping in the area. I will go there tomorrow to see about the clearance table, thanks for the info on that. I still have almost $9 on my gift card I was going to use for paint on the '62 Vette so I can show her what she bought me.
  14. Welcome Terry. You have some nice samples from your past and a good start for the future. Looking forward to seeing some more of your work.
  15. Nice job, and Doc already put his stamp on it, oh my! I love it!!!
  16. Another beauty Jim, nice job on the detailing.
  17. It looks very cool! And you are right, you need more then one of these great kits.
  18. Thanks, all the comments appreciated.
  19. Perfect weathering, I love it!
  20. Too hard, I love them all from 1950. I have tried to collect as many models from that year as I can. The only 1:1 vehicle I have owned from 1950 is a Chevy Pickup so, I will go with that. Great topic!
  21. Nice, I agree I like them that way.
