Great show, didn't win any awards but, Scale Auto took pictures of my VW so, just maybe! Anyway great to see some of the masters like Art Anderson win some awards. Now I know what level I will need to climb to. This was my first major show I've ever entered a model in. Congrats to all who won and for making it one of the greatest shows in our area. The venders had too much to offer for my limited budget, although I did pick up a few great deals. Looking forward to the show here in October.

Nice job on the model. I too was wondering about the decals, not what I expected to come with the kit but, very clever. I also love Deliveries and '40 Fords.

I'll be looking for you. If you see me lurking around any of the above models give me a shout, they are packed and ready to go.

Looking at all this made me hungry so I fired up the gas grill just to cook a hot dog, and soon ran out of gas, second tank out of gas also . Returned to kitchen to stove top grill pan. Ate. I seem to recall a Kieth Urban song, something about "take the cat but, leave my sweater." But you are probably right most of the time you would keep the dog in a Country song.

Started working on the chassis and I am totally lost when it comes to fuel lines, hoses, electrical and so forth on these cars. I used yellow wire for spark plug wires and now every reference I find has red wires. Too late!!! Having a hard time finding good reference material. Any help would be appreciated. Here are a couple of progress pictures. Thanks for looking.

Revell will probably send you some replacement parts if you report it on their web page customer service. Hope you continue on this one, I'm very interested.

Slow progress I'll have to agree but, remember you started with a kit you didn't care about in the first place. I will just say I like mine way better now than I did before, and probably never would have got around to building it without this CBP.. Just a few more details to finish but, still plenty of time to the end of the year. What gripes me is when I see one listed on ebay for $27 and think there might be a chance someone will buy it. One man's trash as the saying goes. Just have fun and don't take it too seriously is my only advise.

Where did you go Doc? I keep looking back at this and wondering, it's not like you to leave us hanging this long. Is everything alright, does anyone know? Maybe I am just getting too anxious to see more, I hope that's all.
