That paint is some beautiful, amazing work. Wow!
  7. You do some mighty fine work Harry. Thanks for reminding us what you can do once in a while.
  8. Nice tip, I like the shallow Sweeper boxes as well, thanks for that tip also. I currently use the baby food ones saved by my daughter-in-law and me. They will run out some day. I think the Hot Wheels container idea may take them over, that was a good tip too. Now I will just have to go after some KFC. Thanks guys.
  9. Nice! More information about how you did it please!
  10. I like this! What a great idea! Gluhead you are back!!! Nice recovery!
  11. Nice job! Nice combination with the colors, tires and top.
  12. I vote Beetle. The New Beetle Revell kit would probably be the simplest if you can find one. Any of the Tamiya kits are wonderfully detailed if she is looking for that. Good luck what ever she chooses.
  13. I hope it works because I just did one last Saturday and it seems to be working so far. I did give the Krylon plenty of time to cure before applying the clear, twelve days to be exact. A lot may have to do with the temperature and humidity. Good luck with yours.
  14. I like it a lot, Very cool! The wheels complete the look. Looks like you scored at the swap meet, nice touch and the paint work is beautiful, nice work!
  15. You know a Prius is not supposed to look that good? Here in America people always make fun of them, I know because we have one in our garage, my wifes car. She loves it and that's all that matters to me. You obviously must love your Prius too. Who knew one could look that good?
  16. PM Sent. Hope he is still active.
  17. Sorry, I brought this back to the top from 2011, you may have to PM the guy. This came to us from Germany and I'm with you on the build shots. Maybe he will see this.
  18. I've never seen a rusty one in this scale, nice work. I know this one has been on here a while but, I some how missed it. I just started looking at big scale again and love it. This one goes on my list, Thanks.
  19. I would go with early stock car with part of the work already started, I think those cars were cool and still are. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://bangshift.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Doodlebugs_and_old_stock_cars12.jpg&imgrefurl=http://bangshift.com/blog/roadside-find-gallery-vintage-stock-cars-and-ancient-doodlebug-tractors.html&h=768&w=1024&sz=182&tbnid=qX2X-B7_JIUF_M:&tbnh=98&tbnw=131&zoom=1&usg=___hkgr5b11Rd1lchXoTl7K7EQfgk=&docid=pKPRruvEW6XEbM&sa=X&ei=jmB6UZCRHMm1rQG44oHIBA&ved=0CGsQ9QEwBg&dur=706
  20. My first thought was Post Apocalypse Zombie Hunter has arrived!
  21. That is a cool looking filter, I will have to do one soon. Thanks.
  22. Welcome aboard! I know what you mean about the budget to build 1:1 cars, that's partially why I am here. Maybe I need to switch to big scale since my quantity is going down and my eyes are getting worse.
  23. I'm watching Roger, it looks good so far. I always love to see a master at work!
  24. I too, owned a 1:1 '65 Chevelle Malibu SS back in 1966. Mine was dark navy blue and had the silver in back. I remember seeing black on red and even body color on non SS cars. I am also trying to replicate my car in 1/25 scale. One problem I ran into is changing the Malibu emblems to the rear quarter. I think the only ones mounted to the front fender must have been on the Z-16. I think there is a photo etch set available somewhere. Also I need 327 badges. Yours is coming along nicely, I love the pin knobs on the dash.
  25. Nice, I love the idea of using foam board.
